(GAZA CITY) - Bedouins in Gaza have a special way of celebrating their weddings. A traditional wedding practices by some Bedouins in parts of the Gaza Strip, are held in the summer.

The ceremony involves the invitation of horseback riders, who are invited to the event.

Gazans set up a large tent to host their special visiting guests, and the weddings are marked by the placement of a white flag, which means anyone who sees the flag is invited to attend their special celebration.

Well, even so, couldn't they shoot having somebody more enthusiastic in the background than a bored to death guy, cleaning under his nails? They could also, for ex. mention how their women are celebrating. I don't see them at all. Maybe that's why there's no bride.

I expected to see a beautiful bride and a groom in their costumes... seen only armed horse-riders. Depressing.

Edior: Natalie, I can ask Yousef about that, but I suspect the camera avoided certain aspects, in order to not have them be singled out later by the IDF for some reason. Only a guess, but knowing how things are, probably the case.
