Police Arrest Two in Dundee ShootingSalem-News.comThe charges on Litscher, Homestead and Waggoner will be reviewed by a Yamhill County Grand Jury within a week.
(DUNDEE, Ore.) - Police have arrested three men in the April 30th shooting that took place in Dundee. Around 11:30 PM Thursday, 34-year old Willard Wayne Waggoner, was arrested by the US Marshals Service Oregon Fugitive Task Force with vital assistance from Salem Police Department and Albany Police Department. The arrest was made at a residence in Albany. Waggoner is one suspect charged in connection with last month's shooting in Dundee. The late evening event caused traffic on Highway 99W to be closed down traffic on Hwy 99W while members of the Yamhill County Major Crime Response Team investigated the crime. Police say Waggoner was arrested without incident and charged with Attempted Murder, Attempted Kidnap in the First Degree, and Assault in the First Degree. He was lodged in Yamhill County Jail, McMinnville, held on $2,000,000 bail. Waggoner also has a Lincoln County warrant without bail for an unknown charge. They also report that 42-year old Kevin Duane Litscher of Dayton, has also been arrested in connection with the shooting, charged with Unlawful Possession of Methamphetamine, Conspiracy to Commit Murder, and Solicitation to Commit Murder. He is being held in the Yamhill County on $500,000 bail. 28-year old Cory Dwight Homestead of McMinnville, has also been arrested in connection with the shooting, charged with Robbery in the first degree, and Kidnapping in the first degree and Conspiracy to commit each of those offenses. He is held in the Yamhill County Jail on $1,000,000 security. Arrested along with Waggoner was Hallie Murray, no information available, on a Marion County warrant for Possession of Methamphetamine. She is held on $100,000 bail. The charges on Litscher, Homestead and Waggoner will be reviewed by a Yamhill County Grand Jury within a week.
