Reward Offered in Stayton Burglary and Vehicle Theft

A $1000 reward for anyone with information which leads to an arrest is being offered.

(STAYTON, Ore.) - Police in Stayton are investigating a series of thefts from Karsten Manufacturing. They say that on Sunday, they were notified of a stolen vehicle, Theft, and a Burglary.

The Burglary occurred sometime between 3:00 PM and 7:00 PM on Sunday. During that time someone gained access through a chain link gate and stole a white colored 2003 GMC 1 ton flatbed truck valued at $25,000 with a license plate of T542790.

Also taken were a small utility trailer, numerous tools and appliances used in the construction of the manufactured home building process, valued at over $20,000.

The investigation is continuing with no suspects at this time. If you have any information regarding this investigation please contact Officer Tim Hankins at the Stayton Police Department.

If you see the truck please contact the local police department of where the truck is located.
