(PASO ROBLES, CA) - Truth, in the Evangelical sense, believes you are an evangelical Christian or you are nothing. Obama is cast as a non-Christian by Evangelicals, and Mitt Romney is considered less than a full-blown Christian in the eyes of the GOP party’s Holy See. The Republican’s Holy See, is a metaphor for Evangelists who have taken control of the Party, and have declared war on women who they would drag back to the Middle Ages and subject again to the uncertainty of their lives. It’s not going to happen! Most women no longer need to be told what is good for them, and even if they were, they are capable of deciding for themselves without qualms or reservation how they want to live Ann Romney “chose” to stay home and raise her family; but the circumstances of most women do not permit of Ann’s luxury. Yet Every woman deserves the luxury to choose for herself how best to live her life, including whether or not to conceive, and if so when. The earth is vastly overpopulated and reeks of poverty. But the Catholic Church, the LDS and the Republican Evangelical Holy See have their reasons to resist. Birth control slows the process of member renewal and could stop it. Too much Religion and too little Reason is why Separation of Church and State makes sense and is best served by a Secular government. Kenneth G. Ramey, Salem-News.com's Religion and Philosophy Writer, confronts the hard issues of politics and religion from a logical point of view that combines interesting insight with history into the truth, or lack thereof, that underlies the strengths and weaknesses of the Religious Right’s determination to use American politics for its own misguided, or selfish, interest. It’s rare for a writer to balance his writing between religious values and the secular guarantees of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights with the knowledge that Ken possesses, and to do it so effectively. Ken was born in Minnesota but was raised in California since 1932. He is the youngest of four boys raised by his mother alone during the dark years of the Great Depression. He Graduated from SFSU in the 1970s when in his mid-forties, majoring in Spanish North American History, and added three years of post-graduate study, much of it in Philosophy and Religion. We live at a critical time in history and believe Ken's views represent the view of many who are tired of the commercialism and false interpretations about religion today. Watch for Ken's articles on religion, philosophy, politics and history. View articles written by Kenneth G. Mormons, Christians, agnostics, athiests, it does not matter, the upcoming election is about leadership and competence. We are in a malaise brought on by secular inexperience and an agenda rejected long ago in other parts of the world.
For President Barack Obama, Mitt Romney is an obvious throwback to another era — a stiff Father Knows Best-type who straps the dog to the station wagon and marries his high-school sweetheart...Romney: “I happen to think that the president’s (Obama) policies are shaped by a perspective that’s old and outdated,” he said. “His policies are rooted in perspectives of the past. His ideas about energy are simply out of date. His other policies flow from the thinking of the liberals from years ago.” From the New York Times, more failure by liberal secular incompetence: "Shortfall in California’s Budget Swells to $16 Billion...The state budget shortfall in California has increased dramatically in the last six months, forcing state officials to assemble a series of new spending cuts that are likely to mean further reductions to schools, health care and other social programs already battered by nearly five years of budget retrenchment, state officials announced on Saturday." SO WHAT IS THE LIBERAL SOLUTION? HOPE AND PRAY? CUT SPENDING? NO! INCREASE TAXES, THEN SOON NO ONE LEFT TO TAX. Raise those taxes, watch those businesses and rich people leave, watch that revenue continue to fall. HELLO GREECE.

DJ: Americans are taxed on their income no matter where they live. The only way to avoid taxation is by renouncing their citizenship. They are still obliged to pay taxes in the country where they have moved to and if they retain U.S. citizenship, they are taxed on income by both countries.
As Bruce Bartlett writes in the NYT "while there is no doubt that some people do migrate solely because of taxes, the number is small even when it doesn’t involve a loss of citizenship."

They use religion to control. I believe in Jesus Christ, but I find very few churches, politicians, etc. that really knows who Christ is, and what He is all about. Religion is an indoctrination tool, and one of the most powerful tools they have to control. I, for one, am not going to support israel because of some type of made up "God gave them this land", or support israel because of some type of second coming". It is so ridiculous that I can harldy fathom it. I suggest people search long and hard, for the true meaning of Christ. Ask for wisdom, He gives wisdom freely and without reproach. Reproach definition: without blame, rebuke, disgrace or shame, and ya dont need a resume. Just ask.
