Four Missing Oregon Teens Found Alive

Police say the rafters are in good shape, however they are a little cold and hungry.

(TROUTDALE, Ore. ) - Multnomah County Search and Rescue teams searching the Sandy River near Lewis and Clark State Park this morning for four teens who went missing after a rafting trip Sunday afternoon have been found safe.

Sheriff’s Deputies say the four, two men and two women, all 19. began their trip from Dodge Park around noon Sunday. The river is extremely cold and full of debris.

They had trouble in some river rapids, and stopped for the night along the riverbank.

The four, said they had to burn their shirts to stay warm.

Police say the rafters are in good shape, however they are a little cold and hungry.

Police said the rafters had a cell phone with them.
