(CORVALLIS, Ore.) - Police say a crash involving a pedestrian has closed the southbound lanes on Oregon 99W, (Pacific Highway West) at mile post 8. This is at the junction with Oregon 34, the Corvallis-Lebanon Highway. Traffic is being detoured onto Oregon 34 at this time, officials on the scene say. Because of the nature of the crash and reported serious injury, it is possible that a police investigation may cause a prolonged closure. They say to expect delays or use alternate routes.
