(SALEM) - This year’s Rose Festival princesses will visit a local McDonald’s in Salem Wednesday, May 2nd, to promote breast cancer awareness, benefiting Y-ME, a breast cancer research organization.

The public is invited to attend this community gathering of support and meet the 2007 Rose Festival court. It happens Wednesday, May 2nd, between 11:45 AM and 12:15 PM.

The event will be held in Salem at the McDonald’s Restaurant at 1110 SE Center Street, near the state capitol.

Organizers say they want to use the gathering to help raise awareness for breast cancer and to support the Y-ME organization in the Northwest.
