To Call Zimmerman a Zimmerman

Bob Dylan gives up peace, tosses support for Israel's in spite of war crimes.

Bob Dylan is scheduled to perform in Israel this June.
Bob Dylan is scheduled to perform in Israel this June.

(LONDON) - Singer-songwriter and harmonica owner Bob Dylan (born Robert Allen Zimmerman) will perform at Israel's Ramat Gan Stadium in June.

Supporting Israeli apartheid, not peaceful?

The 69-year old folk legend seems to be impervious to Israel’s war crime record and the growing international movement calling for artists to boycott the rogue state.

Other international performers such as Elvis Costello, the Pixies and Pink Floyd's Roger Waters cancelled scheduled performances in Israel to protest the government's treatment of the Palestinians.

Let us hope that Zimmerman will change his mind.

However, for the time being you can enjoy yourself watching Zimmerman’s take on Hava Nagila.

It seems as if the poor guy doesn’t manage to hit a single note.

You guys need to lighten up and take a reality pill. Mr. Dylan has to right to perform wherever he pleases; he has earned this right. Besides, I do not here you condemning the "war crimes" that have been perpetrated against Israel and the Jewish people for decades and even centuries; the people and countries (who will be nameless) whose #1 priority is to wipe Israel off the face of the earth. Listen to Mr. Dylan's song "Neighborhood Bully" and this will tell you how he feels about the treatment of Israel. As for Joanna, who predicts riots or worse, she appears to be upset about Mr. Dylan performing...Hey, Joanna, you should be more concerned about the individuals who will riot...or worse.

Editor: Jyrone, you can imagine that nobody really wants this to be the case, but when a leapord shows you his spots you have to take the information, file it away, and toss your Dylan records into the garbage can.  What about Dylan's shitty attitude toward reporters back 'in the day'?  Dylan has soiled himself by showing that his interests are behind a regime that carries out genocide against another culture.  And don't think that we are not troubled by every death, every Jewish man woman and child who is hurt or killed; nobody wants this, but it is only fair to call things for what they are.  Dylan joins Elton John and others who drop on their knees and slop it up for a few Israel shekels, they didn't have to do it and that is why REAL entertainers like Carlos Santana, Elvis Costello and many others refuse and are people of action and  words.

Dylan may be psychically numbed; this is the only explanation I can imagine for this hypocrisy. He must also be in denial to think he can possibly complete this tour through Europe, betraying the "humanity" he once represented. I predict riots...or worse.
