The Buddhists Attack Muslims in Tharyarwadi, Bago Division

(AOK PHO, Burma) - The Muslims in Aok Pho town in Tharyarwadi, Bago division are being attacked according to information received at 12:30 a.m. About 400 Buddhist terrorists are burning a Mosque and houses. The police have failed to control the racists. Local police say the number of rioters is high.

The Buddhist terrorists so far have destroyed a Mosque and a religious school (Madrasa) and also are responsible for deadly attacks against Muslims. The Muslim villagers tried to stop the violence but Muslims are few in number compared to Buddhist extremists.

The police personnel and other riot security forces watching the activities of racist Buddhists look like they are ready for a football match.

In this village, there are more than 70 Muslim households with a Muslim population of approximately 200 people with a Mosque and a religious school.
