Britney Spears Out of Rehab

Embattled pop star Britney Spears has checked out of Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Treatment Facility.

(MALIBU, Calif. ) - Embattled pop star Britney Spears checked out of Promises Malibu Alcohol and Drug Treatment Facility on Tuesday.

The pop star's manager said in a statement released by Jive Records that she left “after successfully completing their program.”

Spears entered the facility on February 21st, after some highly publicized behavior described by many as bizarre, that included having her head shaved completely bald, and an incident during which she allegedly beat a car with an umbrella.

The 25-year-old is a Grammy Award-winning pop singer, dancer, actress, author and songwriter. She draws her major following from teenage females in the U.S.

Spears’ wild activities since her divorce from Kevin Federline in November have made weekly magazine covers a big hit a supermarket checkout lines.

The two have joint custody of their sons, Jayden James, 6-months, and Sean Preston, 18-months.

According to Wikipedia, she is best known for her studio albums, music videos, and songs such as "...Baby One More Time", "Oops!...I Did It Again", "I'm a Slave 4 U" and "Toxic".

In the early 2000s, Spears's success as a singer led her way to high-profile advertising deals and endorsements, as well as forays into other forms of media, including film and reality television.

Her third and fourth albums, Britney and In the Zone, were released during this era.

In 2004 she married Federline, and the following year she gave birth to their first son, Sean Preston. Their second son, Jayden James, was born in 2006. Spears filed for divorce from Federline on November 7th, 2006 citing irreconcilable differences.
