(SALEM, Ore.) - Investigators with the Marion County Sheriff's Office and the Silverton Police Department have arrested 18-year old Bo Dean Todd in relation to the February 27, 2010 shooting death of 22-year old Mark Patrick Berry, according to Deputy District Attorney Paige Clarkson. Todd will be arraigned at 3:00 p.m. today at the Marion County Circuit Court Annex located at 4000 Aumsville Highway in Salem. He has retained Mr. Steven Sherlag of Portland as his counsel. Clarkson says the Marion County District Attorney's Office has filed charges of Manslaughter in the First Degree, two counts of Pointing a Firearm at Another, and one count of Recklessly Endangering Another Person. The shooting took place at a party in Silverton on 27 February. Manslaughter in the First Degree is a class A Felony and carries a maximum of 20 years in prison. Pointing a Firearm at Another is an unclassified misdemeanor that carries a maximum of 6 months in jail. Recklessly Endangering Another Person is a class A Misdemeanor that carries a maximum of one year in jail.
