(SALEM - AP) - Oregon's property rights law is about to take effect -- again.

The Oregon Supreme Court ruling that reinstated Measure 37 will be officially recorded on Monday.

Supreme Court justices last month overruled a lower court's opinion that Measure 37 violates state and federal constitutions.

The voter-approved law requires governments to give up land-use rules that hurt property value or pay owners for the financial loss.

Once the decision is recorded, property owner claims will be accepted and processed again in the jurisdictions named in the lawsuit - -Washington, Clackamas, Marion and Jackson counties
