Meadowlark Lemon, Harlem Comedy All-Stars Coming to Salem

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Meadowlark Lemon the “Clown Prince of Basketball” is bringing his famous half-court hook-shot and his comical antics to Salem on Saturday.

Best know for his years with the Harlem Globetrotters, Meadowlark now tours with the famous Harlem Comedy All-Stars. The Harlem All-Stars will be the featured attraction at the The Hadley Hope Basketball Game.

The Harlem All-Stars vs The International Sharp Shooters is a benefit game showcasing amazing basketball tricks and skills, plus plenty of hi-jinks and comedic hoop antics — great family entertainment. Along with Basketball Hall of Fame Legend Meadowlark Lemon the game will also star: Harlem Globetrotter veteran “Hollywood” Brown and Harlem All-Star veteran “Pee Wee” Harrison. There will be an autograph session at the conclusion of the game.

All of the proceeds go to benefit Hadley Hope and to find a cure for Niemann-Pick.

The game is being held at Chemeketa Community College Storm Center - gym, Building 7, 4000 Lancaster Dr, Salem OR 97305 on Saturday, March 8 at 7:00 p.m.

Tickets are $20 each and are available to purchase at Chemeketa Community College Bookstore, Joe’s Outdoor Sports & More, The Hoop, YMCA and will also be available at the door.
