Amber Alert Issued Over 11-Year Old California Girl in Extreme Danger

(SALINAS, Calif.) - An AMBER Alert has been issued for an 11-year old California girl missing out of Salinas, who is reportedly in danger.

The State of California issued the Amber Alert Thursday afternoon at 1:39 p.m. after the girl was reportedly abducted earlier in the day from her home in Salinas.

Police in Salinas say the child is believed to be in extreme danger. Maria Roldan an 11 year old Hispanic female, 5' tall, 116 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair.

The suspect is Joventino Benegas, a 21-year old Hispanic male, 5'8" tall, 200 pounds with brown eyes and brown hair. He has a blonde streak of hair and a goatee, his right eyebrow is pierced and he has pierced ears.

The suspect vehicle is a green Daewoo with paper (temporary) tags.
