I am Josh's Girlfriend. What he did was stupid. I love him Very much. I miss him very much. He loved me and his kids. And we are having one in 2 weeks. Its sad what he did. But he must have been so stressed abut everything he just broke out. People do stupid things when they are stressed i guess. Now he will be gone for a while. But when he gets out i will still be there for him and love him like always. And he can see his baby girl
Laughing out Loud to Jason Nordman June 30, 2009 10:35 am (Pacific time)
I believe both brothers are losers and one has a lot of nerve to talk about the other! Get a life take care of your own KIDS and stop talking about the other we all know about you Jason!
anonymous June 29, 2009 8:56 pm (Pacific time)
So Jason, how many kids do you have? You don't pay child support for any of them or have anything to do with any of them. At least Josh is a father to his kids and up until this point has made an effort to raise and support them which is more than you can say for yourself.
jason nordman June 28, 2009 3:14 pm (Pacific time)
why dont you call me and i will tell you all about josh nordman and tammy as well ...
Editor: Jason, thanks for the information. I passed it along to our writer but I think he is working on something else now. In a way, the story isn't about Mr. Nordman but about the fallout of an economy and a frequently dishonest banking system. For the record, nobody here is advocating for this man's actions, they were, if he is convicted, totally wrong and no example. But there is a bigger story at hand and I believe that was Daniel Johnson's larger objective. I passed your information along, thanks for writing.

i do believe society has put to much value on monetary living so that all of us that can't live up to that level and some of us lose ourselves in drugs ect. This is a sad nation who look down on it's people and does not fell the pain that understanding can cure. I love these people in this situation but it was a long time coming

But for the Grace of God go a lot of us.
Mike H. June 24, 2009 11:51 pm (Pacific time)
Anybody can see that this guy is not really a criminal, and that this had to be his first time in this sort of act. People are right, he did not even attempt to conceal his identity at all. I know parents would do anything their kids. It is just too bad he couldn't resolve the issue some other way. Hopefully the economy gets fixed before it gets too far out of control.
Tammy Nordman June 24, 2009 7:51 pm (Pacific time)
I am the wife of the bank robber. Know one really knows what someone is like, thinking, or feeling unless they are walking in there shoes, cause never in a million years would I as his wife, married for eight years would I have ever, ever imagined that this man that loved his children more than life itself would do anything to risk not being able to see his children even one day of there life. That man in those photos to me is a man who loved his family so much that he didn't have the courage to tell us that he lost his job, so he lost himself and did a stupid thing. But look at those pictures what man that didn't have a moment of insanity would go into a bank without any kind effort in hiding his identity? Yes, an idiot, but also someone who just had a breaking point. He is one of the best fathers I have ever seen , I was so proud that my kids had him for a father, so please even though we were going through a spit up, and I had my own issues of anger or hate towards him, I will always say that he was not all there that day, i dont know yet i haven't spoken with him but i will say back to the comments no matter what anyone blogs about him, I want to blog that he was a great father.
Editor: Tammy, thanks for sharing your story with us and as a father in this hard-pressed economic time, I followed what you wrote with great interest. Watch for an upcoming article that I believe will include an interesting thought on all of this. Again, thanks for writing.
His Brother in law June 23, 2009 11:15 pm (Pacific time)
He lost his job last week has four kids and one due.
Editor: Can you please send me an email? We have a writer who is very interested in this story and if you write to me, I will forward your email to him. The circumstances here seem sad and worth looking at; the economy is hard. I want to know if he worked at the mill and to just know what you want us to know about him,. Thanks, tim@salem-news.com
Daniel Johnson June 23, 2009 7:23 pm (Pacific time)
gp: Don't be so quick to judge. Are you, like most people, only a paycheck or two away from homelessness and destitution? And, if you're not, what makes you so superior?
Daniel Johnson June 23, 2009 5:40 pm (Pacific time)
Look at that picture. He might as well have left his wallet behind.
gp June 23, 2009 5:09 pm (Pacific time)
desperation strikes deep, expect more of this. At least he can get three squares and a bed right in Sheridan and his wife can walk to the joint to visit. Poor fool.
