America has become the country they left, to form this new nation in the first place. All we are today is a modernized 17th century England of the 21nd Century. Is it any wonder there's a movement to colonize Mars. Then in another three or four hundred years the'll be looking to leave there for Zoltron. No wonder there's more than one planet.
