Wall Street Journal Launches Special Tel Aviv Operation

The WSJ defends Israel's deadly apartheid politics, but then what would you expect?

Salem-News.com
This is the reality of supporting Israel's politics; it wasn't OK in the American south, it wasn't OK in Nazi Germany or apartheid South Africa, so why is it OK for Israel? It isn't. Artwork by the amazing Carlos Latuff, friend of Salem-News.com located in Rio de Janeiro.

(SALEM, Ore.) - Who should be surprised that the media group named for the biggest curse in America is decidedly pro-Israeli? Why would anyone fall over in shock that the Wall Street Journal laments the role of the killer, while demonizing those who simply seek world peace?

Their newest article, 'Israel and the Surrender of the West' tears into the notion of "world opinion" as if a global view is some kind of liability. I guess it is for Israel after the deadly flotilla incident[1].

WSJ writer, Shelby Steele, seems to really wrinkle his nose over the bigger picture:

"The most interesting voice in all the fallout surrounding the Gaza flotilla incident is that sanctimonious and meddling voice known as 'world opinion.' At every turn 'world opinion,' like a school marm, takes offense and condemns Israel for yet another infraction of the world's moral sensibility. And this voice has achieved an international political legitimacy so that even the silliest condemnation of Israel is an opportunity for self-congratulation."

There is that darned world opinion meddling again. First it was the Third Reich, then Pol Pot, apartheid South Africa, it is such a pain that world opinion! Really; puhleease!!!

I think hers is more of a 'whirled' opinion.

World Condemnation

It is the United Nations itself that stands in condemnation of Israel for war crimes during the winter 2008/2009 attack on Gaza that left over 1400 mostly civilian residents dead. The man who investigated the Gaza attack and wrote 'The GoldStone report' in addition to being a distinguished war crimes investigator, is a South African Jew; the honorable Judge Richard Goldstone.

Genuine cowards those Israeli 'commandos' - so inept and the victims of such horrible military planning, that they are in reality and will always be, a superb joke; an absolute laughingstock for all military in the world. So are the defenders of the Israeli terrorists who killed the peaceful members of that crew.

It was a response to Hamas rocket attacks that killed seven Israelis. Seven Israeli soldiers died during the reprisal attack, 'Operation Cast Lead' from friendly fire, for a total of 14 Israeli dead. 14 lives were avenged by Israel with the deaths of more than 1400 lives, most civilian Palestinians, several hundred children among them.

Israel used white phosphorous and Depleted Uranium (DP) rounds illegally during the savage attack on people already living in a modern day concentration camp.

The Gaza Freedom Flotilla was simply the latest of many similar efforts, to break the blockade of Gaza, which is also illegal according to the United Nations. Some involve overland convoys, some use the sea, none are 'terrorist' missions as so many Israeli agencies falsely suggest.

In fact just today an Israeli cartoonist sent the most ridiculous set of drawings designed to make the peace activists aboard the Mavi Marmara appear to be something dangerous, when that is not the case.

Israel has endless money to fund this propaganda, it takes its toll, and it doesn't hurt to have the Wall Street Journal in the role of troll.

In publishing from this point of view, the WSJ cancels its deal with humanity, if it ever had one. It is about money, greed and capitalism; the stock market, the things that have devastated this nation.

So lambasting those who seek to see an end to injustice oddly fits the WSJ; better than expected, or hoped for. It certainly isn't a reflection of the overall place I hope.

They insult rock bands who have the courage to boycott Israel. In case you didn't know, there is a huge effort underway to boycott Israeli goods, particularly those exported from illegal Israeli settlements on stolen Palestinian land. It is the same old story; social injustice of the highest order.

Israel and Racial Bigotry

Israel maintains different laws for people of different religions, some may think that is OK but it is not OK, morally or socially. Israeli laws mirror South Africa's apartheid laws and they are strictly enforced in the Jewish state. They have built terrible huge walls across the West Bank and they planted them squarely across the farm fields. Today Israeli troops shoot and kill farmers with sniper rifles, this is documented and happens frequently[2].

Israel is an unjust nation; apartheid laws should immediately be banished. Israeli supporters equate criticism of their deadly attacks on Palestinians as 'anti-Semitic' and that is the most ridiculous lame assertion in the world. In fact it is simply dirty. We deplore Nazi and white supremacist politics and we work with Jewish people, Israeli people specifically, every day. No writers for this publication advocate violence or hate. We simply tell the truth of brutal military politics doled out by the state of Israel. We criticize the amazing 'victimhood' of Israeli citizens who immediately assume that position when under suspicion or when criticized.

Our ranks of writers include highly rated professors, attorneys, authors and educators. Their collective years of studying this issue span decades. The agreed upon bottom line message, is that oppressive politics and their sponsor governments are not acceptable in today's world, nor should they ever have been.

The blockade of Gaza, the scene of the horrific military strike referenced above, should never have been enacted. The Palestinians have been suffering massive discrimination for over sixty years. The United Nations is shrugged aside by Israel and the U.S. It is a real embrace of the unwavering endorsement of unlawful military high-handedness.

The people aboard the flotilla were heroes.

In a general sense, home invaders are not acceptable to human beings, though Israel apparently disagrees. Perhaps Israeli citizens allow people to enter their homes with weapons and stand by calmly as members of their families are shot without raising an objection, I guess that is possible. It is obviously what they stupidly expected of the peace activists; that is far too much to expect and Israel knew it. Instead they knew that the crew would resist a violent boarding and takeover, preceded by the deadly gunfire of illegal cowards.

The Pre-Meditated Murder of Peace Activists

Let's take this apart a little more; the IDF fired on the Mavi Marmara before they ever boarded her. Genuine cowards those Israeli 'commandos' - so inept and the victims of such horrible military planning, that they are in reality and will always be, a superb joke; an absolute laughingstock for all military in the world. So are the defenders of the Israeli terrorists who killed the peaceful members of that crew.

Learn the real story of what happened on the Mavi Marmara.

This Israeli public relations campaign to spin unarmed defenders into scary 'dangerous' people with 'sticks' and 'metal rods' as if these were real weapons, is equally laughable. Hell, the not-very-glorious Israeli commandos were disarmed, held captive, not killed, it goes on and on.

The people on the flotilla carried a desire to help people live. The Israelis carried a desire to kill.

They had lists of activists to murder, and that is exactly what they did. After all, the activists were unarmed, regardless of how 'horrifying' Israel portrays their defense. Men with deadly weapons attacking a bunch of activists with laptop computers, that is the bravery of the IDF in full swing.

As a final note, I caught an Israeli statement today that claims the flotilla attack on the high seas was legal because they sought to break the blockade. I have researched this and it is absolutely not true. But Israel did violate international law by attacking the flotilla.

There are regulations established to define how military intervention at sea happens. The document that sets those international laws is the United Nations Treaty: Convention on the High Seas 1958[3].

According to a review of this document, there is no legal justification for ythe unilateral military assault on the Flotilla Vessel Mavi Marmara, one of six ships comprising the Gaza Freedom Flotilla.

Israeli Attack on the Mavi Marmara, May 31st 2010 // 15 min. from
Cultures of Resistance on Vimeo.

Overtaking a vessel underway against its will certainly equates to the description of "hot pursuit" at sea. Those aboard the vessel say Israel fired at them with live rounds before boarding.

Article 23 in the High Seas Convention states that the "hot pursuit of a foreign ship" is permissible when local authorities have good reason to believe that the ship has violated the laws and regulations of that State, which in this case is Israel.

"Such pursuit must be commenced when the foreign ship or one of its boats is within the internal waters or the territorial sea or the contiguous zone of the pursuing State."

The Flotilla by every account, was in international waters. This being the case, Israel or any other nation had a right to board it, if they believed it was involved in either piracy or the slave trade[4].

It was clear that was not the case with the Mavi Marmara.

Racial Integrity

Humanity is not a subject with exceptions. People who are pushed to the very edge of existence can be an unstable lot, that is true; it happened to the Jewish race itself during the Holocaust and we never can or should go a moment without knowing that terrible truth.

People are capable of doing terrible things in awfully clean and well pressed uniforms. It doesn't require a swastika.

Today the shoe is on a different foot and it is time for Israel to raise the bar instead of lowering the boom, on Arab people.

I predict great peace in the future if Israel can just make the credible moves that are necessary, without the ridiculous and insulting stipulations in the Camp David offer of 2000 that Steele refers to; implying that it was the deal of a lifetime:

"To have accepted that offer would have been to forgo hatred as consolation and meaning. Thus it would have plunged the Palestinians—and by implication the broader Muslim world—into a confrontation with their inferiority relative to modernity. Arafat knew that without the Jews to hate an all-defining cohesion would leave the Muslim world".

How and why is this level of prejudice acceptable at the Wall Street Journal? Broadly judging all Muslim people in a single sentence?

The only reason there is hatred is because the Palestinians have had everything stolen, and continue to, with the expansion of illegal settlements and the continual bulldozing of established Palestinian homes. That is why brave Americans and Brits and Irish and Canadians and Turks and people from so many other nations are working together today with Israeli people, to end the Netanyahu government's reckless military nature. And here is the good old sold out American mainstream media, publishing information that is propaganda at best, actual hate-stirring bigotry at worst.

a worm is a worm is a worm- and you are just a plain old anti-Semite- Thank g-d you write for a little unknown rag of a paper! You are nothing more than a two bit writer with a two bit audience.

Tim King: I love the defense of the Arab hating types; to call people names, simply low class.  I work with Jewish people, I would defend Jewish people against oppression.  It just so happens to be that the people like you want to commit genocide and people like me aren't going to let you keep doing it.  You should wash your hands, the blood is covering any sign of human flesh.

John June 24, 2010 10:30 am (Pacific time)

In the comment above, somehow anonymous was put in instead of my name. Could have been my mistake. Just wanted you to know that I stand against just about everything you spew and wanted my name properly attached to my comment. One last comment, you should watch the youtube on the Palestian children being taught hate and martyr songs. If those people loved their children they would not be willing to use them for cannon fodder. Does it amaze you that the Israeli children don't learn this hatred of the Palestianians? It doesn't amaze me. I know they value life. So, who do you choose sir; those that value life or those that want to destroy everything through Sharia Law and are willing to have their children sacrificed to do it? Never mind, after all your articles and replies, I already know the answer.

Tim King: John, why does Israel have a right to steal?  Why are you such a hopeless bigot that you would try to judge little children because of their place of birth.  You are the devil must be good friends.  You're right, always, every time you come around with this, truth will counter your points.  You are a racist for judging all Palestinian people.  I know there are many good Israeli people.  You are not exhibiting good qualities John.  I only hope it is confusion and not outright hatred as it seems.  Remember it is a statistical fact that all people who are racist have lower IQ's than those who do not.  Racists are unable to process very basic levels of the human thought process.  Maybe we should just feel sorry for people like you and figure it isn't your fault, but then your politics and mindset are no less dangerous thereof.

Mr. King: As executive editor, you should cease to refer to yourself as a journalist. Your bias and prejudice are both staggering. You should consider yourself nothing more than a blog writer because as a journalist you should be the eyes and ears of the world and report things in such a unbiased manner that the reader can draw their own conclusions. However, you've obviously got an ax to grind against Israel and it being your paper you can misrepresent the truth as you see fit. Unfortunately, there are those, such as myself, that study, read, understand and share a different "opinion" than you while those that just accept your anger are simply mislead. I'm truly ashamed to see this kind of "reporting" that emanates from this left leaning paper.
I find it laughable that your disclaimer reads "All opinions expressed in this article are those of the author and do not necessarily reflect those of Salem-News.com." Well, since you're the executive editor, I guess that statement is incorrect. Just like so many of the misleading and false statements you make in your articles. Shame on you sir. Good luck in your future hatreds.

Tim King: You may be one of those bigots who simply wants to see Palestine "wiped from the map", but you know you are a liar, you know I am very clear that this is strictly about Israeli policy.  There is no hate, only disgust for your country's murderous politics and whimpy 'victimhood' defense.  You are worse than the boy who cried wolf and you are a sad little liar.  What would you do if confronted with real white supremacists?  How would that go?  You used up all of you 'help there's an anti-Semite' chips, and soon there will be no more left to cash in.   So in the end I find you laughable and your assessments of my employment opportunities are a crack up to.  If I actually had to worry what someone like yourself thinks, we would all be in trouble.

John June 23, 2010 9:26 am (Pacific time)

To Anonymous. You are one of the most prejudiced and ill-informed people that I've heard from in this blog. Just wait until the politicial Islamists are in control and you as a Kafir, will be right up there with all the unbelievers they want to kill. You obviously do not know your enemy. For an individual who claims to be a researcher you seem to be have a selective bias. When the people that are deceitfully having Sharia Law imposed on our govt instutitions are successful, it will be because of people like you wanting to live in their little pagan world and then you'll be begging the rest of us to pull you out of the fire. I've got children and grandchildren to protect. You obviously know absolutely nothing about either Christianity or Judaism. So let me give you a good one you can research, quote, look up, recite, read, study and live by in regards to God speaking to Israel: Genesis 12:3, "And I will bless them that bless thee and curse them that curse thee, and in thee will all the families of the earth be blessed." And you can call me any name you feel free to, but I know which side I'm on. You might like to reconsider which side you are on.

David June 23, 2010 8:34 am (Pacific time)

I certainly do not agree with any form of racist ideology, and I do not know what is in Jon Voight's heart. I also do not know what's in the heart of people within groups like Hamas and Hezbollah. Do you think the latter groups represent a problem to us Americans and should be given a wide berth? I'm not all that knowledgeable about all these different organizations and how they may represent a threat to us, but certainly they do with Israel and that is their affair. Do you know if they deserve our assistance? Thanks.

Tim King: David, we are dealing with generations of animosity.  There are good and bad people on both sides, and there is danger.  Israelis were terribly oppressed when they arrived in this land, they had watched Jewish people by the million murdered by the insanity of the Third Reich.  But the land belonged to people already, and this is the problem.  Large numbers of people arriving by the day greatly spiked the Jewish population, and the Arabs were in many cases driven from their homes; many were killed.  This launched a whole series of wars and aggressions and many people on both sides were killed.  Over the years, with help from the US, England and other nations, Israel gained military superiority.  That power has grown and grown and today the group Hamas, so frequently referred to by Israel's supporters, is more or less the end result.  They are the last organized group left willing to actually fight Israel.  This can be equally admired and deplored, because all violence is wrong, but the biggest perpretator of violence in this part of the world numerically, is Israel.  The biggest problems include apartheid laws; Jews, Arabs and Christians do not have equal rights in Israel, but then Saudi Arabia has the same rules in place for Jews, which is equally wrong, severely prejudice.  Also, the "Islamic Republic of Afghanistan" for example, is not a nation that willingly accepts people of all religions, so there is major hypocricy.  The missing ingredient is peace.  There are no functioning ruls to control Hamas, as there are no accepted guidelines for Israel's bahavior, since the Jewish state stands in violation of many international laws, and so does Hamas, but the differences are large.  Israel creates far more victims today than any government in the area.  Thanks for your sensibie and logical question.  It is a hard situation, the answer is setting up rules that banish discrimination.  The world is a pretty sad and messed up place, hope and pray for the right things to happen.

David June 22, 2010 6:27 pm (Pacific time)

This letter by this iconic actor is a view shared by many. I do not agree with him on most points, but I am glad we live in a nation where all viewpoints can be shared. In many places, going against prevailing powers is a death sentence. Something to think about:
"An open letter from actor Jon Voight to President Obama:
June 22, 2010
Dear President Obama:
You will be the first American president that lied to the Jewish people, and the American people as well, when you said that you would defend Israel, the only Democratic state in the Middle East, against all their enemies. You have done just the opposite. You have propagandized Israel, until they look like they are everyone's enemy - and it has resonated throughout the world. You are putting Israel in harm's way, and you have promoted anti-Semitism throughout the world.

You have brought this to a people who have given the world the Ten Commandments and most laws we live by today. The Jewish people have given the world our greatest scientist and philosophers, and the cures for many diseases, and now you play a very dangerous game so you can look like a true martyr to what you see and say are the underdogs. But the underdogs you defend are murderers and criminals and want Israel eradicated.
You have brought to Arizona a civil war, once again defending the criminals and illegals, creating a meltdown for good, loyal, law-abiding citizens. Your destruction of this country may never be remedied, and we may never recover. I pray to God you stop, and I hope the people in this great country realize your agenda is not for the betterment of mankind, but for the betterment of your politics.
With heartfelt and deep concern for America and Israel,
Jon Voight

Tim King: Well I'm glad you don't agree with most of this racist idelogy as Voight's hatred of Arab people is so thick you could slice it with a knife.  People like this only seek to wipe the Palestinians from the map; they are facing genocide at the hands of Israel and all the zionists can do is repeatedly call out 'anti-Semite' 'anti-Semite' when they are called onto the world's red carpet for murder.  The Nazi's were allowed to express themselves in the 30's in the U.S. and in case you don't know this, many supported that evil cause here in the U.S., I have heard the stories.  That is until the sides were clearly drawn out.  My point is that it is easy for people to verbally back causes out of ignorance, but the consequences are exactly the same.  The excuse of Israel's flagrant acts of murder is an abominable human quality .

Anonymous June 22, 2010 3:04 pm (Pacific time)

John: Romans 9:31 31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness. 32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone; Romans 10:21 21 But to Israel he saith, All day long I have stretched forth my hands unto a disobedient and gainsaying people how long do ya wanna do this? quit reading websites, and read the Bible if you want to quote it.

Anonymous June 22, 2010 2:20 pm (Pacific time)

Tim: thanks for posting both sides of this issue. It is very easy to see the people who live in the old testament/current government/israeli owned propaganda, and pick and choose which scriptures to use to further their evil agenda. Satan used scripture when face to face with Christ if ya want to get into scriptures. Maybe those who quote scripture need to read Acts 7 (stephen), Matthew 24 (where Jesus said He would take them under his wings like a mother hen, but they decided to kill instead) and Revelation 3, where it is clearly stated, those who call themselves jews are not jews.. I dont usually do this, my spiritual life is personal, and try to keep it that way. I try to look at day to day facts in regards to my posts. not twisting scripture from the Bible. Shame on you that do, and my apologies for doing the same, I only did it because if you want to use scripture to support israel, you ran into the wrong person. I have 40 years in Bible study.. It is simple, israel uses the old testament to further their havoc, they hate Jesus who exposed them, and had him killed thru the romans, just as they use the U.S. to kill for them, and Palestinians are most likely descendants of Jesus. John, try and read Acts 7. Especially acts 7: 51-60 The other side of the story. Seems we are still living in the old times of the old testament vs. the new testament. my mother named me after Stephen. Hoping I get stoned in other ways. (k. sorry, could not resist) :-)

John June 22, 2010 11:28 am (Pacific time)

First of all, although we obviously sit in different camps on the issue of Israel, I want to thank you for serving my country as a former Marine. There are still many in this country that truly appreciates your service. We’ll never forget the service of our military ever again. In regards to your comments about the Flotilla and Israel, the fact is, as videotapes have shown, that this Flotilla of ships, who knew what they were doing and going to do, were warned by Israeli soldiers well in advance not to enter the waters under a legitimate Israeli blockade. The IDF boarded the ship armed only with paintball guns and pistols, in case of need, and were set upon and attacked as they rappelled down by these terrorist mobs armed with knives, iron clubs, and even their own pistols that were taken from the soldiers by the Flotilla’s attackers. There were a number of the soldiers that were held as captive, cut up as they were held in the deck below the ship. When the Israelis were finally able to regroup and defend themselves they were able to fight off the terrorist activists, tend to their wounded, and gain control of the boat that had been set on this course with open and violent intent to bring on a near act-of-war. Nearly all of the nine dead, including the American, only born in the US but fighting for the terrorists, were identified as members of Turkish Islamist organizations, most of them of a radical and anti-Western nature. Four of them had previously declared their wish to die as martyrs and again, as opposed to creating something of useful benefit to their people, they choose to kill and die. That is their way. I do not know how much you are aware of the political Islam, but it cannot be distinguished from the religious Islam. Sharia Law dictates that they are to do this. There is no way out of Islam except to die. And you and me being Kafirs are to die. Get that. We're to be killed because we don't follow this so-called religion/political system. On the other hand, we, as Americans and the world seem to want to hold Israel to a higher standard than any other nation on earth. The nations that Israel is defending herself against have no standards at all. They hide behind their children and schools, hospitals and mosques while they fight. Then claim atrocities against Israel while creating their own. As friends, allies and supporters of Israel, I believe this is our right to hold a standard and if you read the Bible it states that there is a code of conduct for them to adhere to (Deuteronomy 23:9). I don’t think that any of us would ever want to see Israel behave in the matter that so many other seemingly civilized but truly heartless nations act. Iran, Russia, Sudan, seem to leap to the forefront of the list. Israel seems to be the only one that does want peace. But peace has to be defended and they truly have their backs to the wall. No other nation, including ours, would stand for this kind of aggressive behavior upon our sovereignty by our enemies. (Kennedy did it with the blockade to Cuba in the ‘60’s) I’m happy to know that while Israel is not perfect, they still continue to show greater restraint, respect human life, and have a far deeper longing for peace than any other country that would be facing similar challenges. We as Christians, along with our Jewish brothers should be aware of our responsibility to Israel. (If you believe in the Bible, then I suggest you might like to read Zachariah chapters 12-14 or Romans chapters 9-11.) When nations with far worse records criticize Israel in the harshest of terms – and are taken seriously while doing so – the higher standard that we judge Israel by starts to look like more of a hindrance than a help. This hypocrisy is getting harder and harder to take. If we do not support Israel, which is a front line defense against the terrorism that these radical Muslims want to perpetrate upon the entire planet, then we will see the same kind of terror in my country. Look at Europe for sake of illustration. And in our own country we have far too many soft people, in mind, attitude and their pathetically misguided sense of “fair-play” that will make it more and more difficult to fight these terrorists off. But have no doubt; the remainder of us will fight them off. I would suggest that you spend some time in Sderot and know that at any moment there will be another Kassim rocket that is shot toward Israel. There have already been thousands of those rockets and the Israeli children are frightened and civilians have been killed. Any cry of outrage from the world? Very little. But those “poor” Palestinians in Gaza that teach their children to hate Jews as pigs and non-humans through Disney like cartoons and teach them killing techniques, who constantly do very little to better themselves, who have had billions of dollars pour into their country and not from their political or religious Muslim brothers but from a deceived world, only to buy more weapons, create suicide bombers, blow up Israeli checkpoints. . .as a former Marine what would you do?

Anonymous June 22, 2010 10:53 am (Pacific time)

Alan: any info you can send in regards to facts that Iran is supporting Hamas would be appreciated..Although, any articles from Robert Murdoch owned media wont mean much. If you have anything besides media Robert owns, I would be interested.

The reason I dont trust Robert Murdoch (sorry about previous spelling), is because the media he owns has lied to me too many times. I may disagree with Tim sometimes on his views, but I have NEVER seen Tim out and out lie. Like Murdoch owned media has.  Thanks

deborah Lurya June 22, 2010 10:37 am (Pacific time)

You are a pathetic worm- you do not support your points- they re simply a reflection of your self. jewtudes

Tim King: Well thanks deborah, I guess when you sport you viewpoint you just have to begin and end with personal insults.  That's cool, you don't have a leg to stand on and if there is any truth to your allegation, it is because I have written hundreds of articles about Israeli oppression and there is just so much of it taking place in so many locations at the same time, that I can't keep up.  I'm not saying the events blend together, they are all distinct, but it all has been explained.  I'd say the worm is a person named deborah who supports the genocidal elimination of Arab people, simply over religions bigotry.

I say, LONG LIVE PALESTINE!

This is exactly what I would expect from the favorite newspaper of the Rockhopper Investors.

shaun June 22, 2010 9:50 am (Pacific time)

Somebody will belive WSJ's proplaganda, somewhere. Please buy our paper full of lies, deceit and traitorous attitudes toward USA. Racism is a govt tool to tear us apart. Religion is a govt tool to tear us apart.

Jimmy June 22, 2010 9:26 am (Pacific time)

Alan, I think you better get back to your IDF barracks! It's not a "hate of Israel and of Jews" as you call out, but a hate of their policies that treat fellow human beings as animals, oppresses their right to live the same life that you do. As far as your processor comment, have you ever been to this little place called Silicon Valley... the birthplace of the modern processor? I'm thinking that it your top notch designers that caused the floating point error in the original Pentium - some great work there! You might want to take a look at a little place called Washington County, Oregon where there are more fab facilities in a single county than in your homeland - and you can be assured, they aren't ringed with barbed wire to keep the Ultra-Orthodox jews from commiting acts of... what do they call that... DOMESTIC TERRORISM!

Anonymous June 22, 2010 9:17 am (Pacific time)

I was not even going to read the WSJ article, because I already knew basically what it was going to say. Look who owns the WSJ, then research the owner, and you will know what I mean. But, after Alan's rant, I decided to. It was worse than I even anticipated. All this university pscho mumbo jumbo of opinionated thought process with ZERO facts written in. It was an opinion. I am a researcher, I use facts to guide by path. People, of all faiths, religions, and cultures lived in the area peacefully until the zionists took over. Wish I could educate Alan with the facts, but I could never get past his government brainwashing. I am not putting down Alan, I feel sorry for those, who no fault of their own, have gotten caught up in the lies that seem to flood the airwaves. Thanks to israel. Its a shame, and is actually a burden I carry in my heart, most every day. thanks for the article Tim.

p.s. hey Bennie Arnold King...

One, Shelby Steele is one of the most respected Civil Rights writers in this country. And "she" is a he...so much for you battling "white supremacists" - I wouldn't be too surprised if they help fund your rag.

Two, still haven't chucked those pcs out the door, Timmy. After all, those processors come straight from those IDF boys you're so jealous of.

Tim King: That article is pure BS.  You and she belong to that anti-prejudice (unless they're Arab) club and guess what pal, that doesn't count.  Nobody who wrote what she wrote, quoted above, is any kind of a civil rights advocate we need.  That is pure hate speech and you know it is Alan.  For those catching this, Alan believes in the genocide of Palestinian people, he thinks Israel is the most important nation, while parading as an American.  I note that I had the gender wrong, thanks for that Alan and sending the WSJ article when it was very fresh.  I think we are done Alan, and I admit that I'm genuinely sorry that we were unable to see the common ground.

As I just wrote you, one can only hope that you learned something from what the brilliant Mr. Steele wrote, but obviously you are so warped in your hate of Israel and of Jews that it clouds your thinking process.

Call yourself an "objective journalist" - doubtful as you openly side with terrorists.

Call yourself an ex-Marine and say you fight "white supremacists"? - Heck, you are no different from them because they too side with your American killing friends in Hamas.

And by the way, I'll take my chances fighting them myself. With you on my back I'd have to watch out for "friendly fire" - because you do side with America's enemies, Tim.

p.s. I provided you with real facts. You're not even honest enough to address them or refute me.

Tim King: This is from the email I just sent Alan:

What is it about supporting Israeli politics that you equate to Naziism?  And what do you do if and when you have to deal with an actual white supremest?  Well don't worry, I'd defend you, even if your support of Israeli genocide makes me sick to my stomach.  If you knew anything about the U.S. Marine Corps you would feel just like I do.  Nobody hates anyone for their religion, you're so damned full of it, but then you have no tools in your box, you're a bigot and racial genocide supporter.  Your bigotry toward Arabs stinks like bad cheese.  Your attitude is probably irreversible, you are on the wrong team, quit standing up for the wrong things, humanity is humanity.  You're rotten for calling me a Nazi, your points mean nothing, though you do piss me off.  Oh well, all bigots piss me off and again you are so damned wrong, oh what the Hell.  And for the record, you make that comment about if we were in combat, well you already showed us that you are more Israeli than American, so we would never be there together.  Your loyalty has nothing to do with the USA in any way, shape or form, unless your goal is the ultimate demise of anything resembling a positive image in the world.  You know damned well that these are the last two holdout countries, yours and mine.  The USA has been dragged into this, Israel's young adults all attend college for free because we, the US taxpayer, sports the bill.  Yet our own are uneducated, unemployed, without those opportunities to do things like live in illegal settlements for free, as long as you promise to stay ten years, on stolen land.  The Bible doesn't grant people the right to steal.  The WSJ article is terribly pathetic and hateful, like you friend.  A bigot and Arab hating hatemonger.  Have a nice day and be sure to polish your goosestepping boots Mr. Modern day Nazi.
