(HUNTINGTON BEACH) - Aaron Chang, one of the most prolific surf photographers of all time, is once again judging Surfline.com’s annual User Photo Challenge, and – along with Surfline's Jeremiah Klein and Billy Watts -- selecting the $1,000 winner. Amateur photographers who upload to Surfline.com’s User Photos section will have their work ultimately judged by Mr. Chang himself in the yearly contest. “With over 100 magazine covers, and some of the most notable photos of the 21st century Aaron’s work as a surf photographer is unparalleled,” said Dave Gilovich, Editorial Director at Surfline.com. “Surfline and its users are fortunate to have Aaron working with us in this capacity.” Chang will help to narrow down the field of user photos so that a winner can be selected on January 30th 2014. Each of these candidates is shown monthly in the User Photo Challenge feature, also on Surfline.com. Aaron Chang, a dedicated husband and father of two boys, is known for impacting the visual world of surfing with his extraordinary talent in photography. He has been a senior photographer for Surfing magazine for 25 years, traveled to over 40 countries to capture some of the most noteworthy surf snaps in existence, and landed clients ranging from Apple to Levi’s and Macy’s to Nike, Yamaha, Polaris, and ESPN. Furthermore, he has been featured on national major the television channels, Fuel TV and PBS. With his vast experience and talent in surf photography, it is only fitting that Chang holds the position as judge for Surfline’s User Photo Challenge. Surf photographers are encouraged to upload their photos and be automatically entered to win at: www.surfline.com/photos. Surf fans everywhere will be anticipating the final winners of Surfline’s Photo Challenge on January 30th, 2014.
