(SALEM, Ore. ) - As Salem-News.com first reported Tuesday night, a motorcycle slammed into the rear end of a semi tanker truck on Interstate 5 near the Delaney Rd exit in south Salem. Police on scene told Salem-News.com that the motorcycle rider was taken by ambulance to Salem Hospital, and their condition is still not known at this time. Both southbound lanes were backed-up for at least five miles, while police and fire crews investigated and cleaned-up the accident site. Salem-News.com will have more on this story as soon as it becomes available.
