Satori World Medical Signs Agreement with Cross-Border Health Plan SIMNSA to Provide U.S. Workforce with High-Quality Health Care in Mexico

(SAN DIEGO) - Satori World Medical, a global health care company in the emerging medical tourism industry, announced that it signed a Letter of Agreement (LOA) with Sistemas Medicos Nacionales, S.A. de C.V. (SIMNSA), a comprehensive health care service plan that provides quality and affordable health care options for the growing, cross-border U.S. workforce.

The agreement calls for the companies to collaborate on marketing opportunities with the intent to participate in each other’s networks and products. SIMNSA is the first Health Plan to collaborate with Satori World Medical since the company’s launch of its innovative payer-supported, employer-sponsored and consumer-choice global health care network in January 2009.

SIMNSA is one of the leading Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) programs in Northern Mexico and in 2000 became the first and, to date, the only Mexican HMO licensed by the California Department of Managed Care as a health care service plan.

Satori World Medical intends to add the SIMNSA network in Mexico as a provider of care for employees of its contracted plan sponsors. SIMNSA will pursue the Mexico network component of the Satori Global Network™ for services required outside the SIMNSA service area.
