(SALEM, Ore.) - You Are Invited.... Are you full of talent, and have no where to use it? Do you wish you could show the world what you're made of, but can't find a job? Do you need something new to add some shine to that old resume? Great! Here is an answer to your dilemma: We are hosting an "all-call" event for all the up & comers in the Portland/Salem area who would like to be a part of the Salem-News "Regulators". Yes, as in Young Guns and Billy the Kid. The Salem-News Regulators are our own posse of good guys! For those of you who would like to participate but unable to make it to this meeting, that is not a problem. Everything we do is electronic and the last thing to limit our ability to work together is physicality. We still need you! Age is not a factor either. We are fully aware that many young people are nothing short of prodigies where electronic mediums are concerned, and we also understand "the curve" in terms of online awareness for others. Simply put, if you are interested, come. Salem-News.com has been built a strong presence on the worldwide web, and makes quite an impressive showing with over 20k regular daily readers. Some days, we top 100,000! And this is just the beginning for this independently owned "New Media" news group. It is time for the overall look and certain dynamics of our news product to take a new turn. Now that the foundation is firmly laid, together we can create the structure that will take us into the future. Always, quality content has been our main goal. With 87 writers and artists aboard, this ship has got to sail. Would you like to add something extraordinary to your resume? We are looking for talented people on all ends of the technology spectrum. These are volunteer positions, some short term, that can add valuable sparkle to your current work experience. WANTED:
...Then join us! The Salem-News Regulators will gather for the first time on Wednesday, June 22nd at 6:30 p.m. in Salem, Oregon. Food & beverages will be provided. Please email me directly (Bonnie@Salem-News.com) for the location or if you have questions; or to share your background before we meet. I look forward to our gathering. Together we can do great things! "Regulators! Mount up!"~RSVP Today_________________________________ View articles written by Bonnie King/b> If you liked this article, please consider making a donation to Salem-News.com by clicking on the PayPal link on our front page (right side).
