McMinnville Teen Arrested on Multiple Sex Crime Charges

(McMINNVILLE, Ore. ) - In early May of 2014, McMinnville Officers received a report about a teenage juvenile female that had been sexually assaulted by Fernando Serratos about a year ago.

The victim also mentioned that another female had been sexually assaulted by the same individual. After significant int erviews and investigation, McMinnville Police Detectives have been able to identify and interview four victims of Serratos.

These assaults have occurred from three years ago to within the last few weeks. They have also occurred in a variety of locations around the city of McMinnville.

All of the victims are juvenile teenage females that were acquainted with Fernando Serratos prior to the assault. At this point, the McMinnville Police Department has no information on further victims of Mr. Serratos.

On Friday, 18-year-old Fernando Serratos, of McMinnville, was arrested and lodged in YCCF pending arraignment in Yamhill County Circuit Court for the following charges:

Rape in the First Degree SRA $ 50,000.00

Unlawful Sexual Penetration in the First Degree

Sex Abuse in the First Degree (2 counts)

Sex Abuse in the Third Degree (4 counts)
