Salem Police are investigating human remains found in the 200 block of Hawthorne Ave NE near Pipebend Place NE.

(SALEM, Ore. ) - Salem Police are investigating human remains found Sunday evening in the 200 block of Hawthorne Ave NE near Pipebend Place NE.

Police on scene told Salem-News.com that it appears the body had been there for sometime. It was found in heavy brush. Police would not say who found the body.

At this time there is no word if the victim was male or female, or if foul play was involved.
