PTSD and the VA Goon Cops: Triple Jeopardy and Deadly Danger

All veterans groups should jump into this. Veterans in Congress should be IRATE and DO SOMETHING! Senator Dole and Senator Inouye WHERE ARE YOU?? You have been there, done that and seen that.

A U.S. Army soldier in Iraq motions toward an approaching individual while on patrol. The VA is trying to minimize the government's responsibility toward PTSD while attacking veterans for "faking" their post war psychological problems. The madness must end - politicians have to speak up. Salem-News.com photo by Tim King

(MOLALLA, Ore.) - Anybody who has survived Infantry Basic Training and Advanced Infantry Training knows it is usually more physically demanding than combat itself.

When the enemy starts shooting, that is something drastically different and this is where PTSD jumps in the brain. Battle Terror is the KEY to PTSD.

The latest reports are that 17% of Iraq/Afghanistan Veterans have PTSD. The Combat Infantry are only about 10% of the Army but suffer 70% of the casualties. There are supposed to be 10 men in the supply chain for each Combat Infantryman.

What this means is that most of the Combat Soldiers get PTSD and the other 10 men in the supply chain and artillery get the remaining 7%.

Two recent deplorable articles showed up on my computer: VA PRESUMES ALL VETERANS ARE DISHONORABLE and

VA POLICE GOONS HACK MEDICAL FILES AND SEEK JAIL TIME FOR PTSD VETS.

When I read these articles I was so enraged I almost threw up (a sign of PTSD). Words failed me so I looked in my Thesaurus: conspicuously bad, flagrant, rank, atrocious, heinous and monstrous all come to mind. None convey such debased articles – maybe Gestapo Tactics.

Gordon Duff reports in VETERANS TODAY NEWS NETWORK: 2000 DISABLED VETERANS ARE BEING PROSECUTED FOR FILING PTSD CLAIMS. SOME ARE JAILED, SOME ARE IN TRIAL. SOME UNDER REVIEW BY MYSTERIOUS VA GOONS.

This insidious harassment is fostered by the American Enterprise Institute via Dr. Sally Satels “Voodoo Medicine” theory that all Vets are fakers. I have an idea that she would think differently if she had been raped.

That is what this is, Psychological rape of the PTSD soldiers and Marines who make it possible for her to speak and write this outrageous garbage.

VA PTSD Veterans files are being illegally hacked by these goons and doctors are being threatened to release confidential medical files.

Ordinarily the FBI would be involved in this but many FBI Agents are military Vets and some are certainly with PTSD. This is why the VA selected its own GOON SQUADS.

Basic and Advanced Infantry Training was stressful enough, battle stress was worse, VA PTSD Therapy was miserably stressful and now PTSD Vets are being persecuted for literally “sacrificing life and limb” for these miserable VA “goon squads”.

All veterans groups should jump into this. Veterans in Congress should be IRATE and DO SOMETHING! Senator Dole and Senator Inouye WHERE ARE YOU?? You have been there, done that and seen that.

THIS IS A HORRIBLE DISGRACE!

My 18 year old grandson was diagnosed 10 years ago with PTSD. It seems to me that not enough attention is being paid to the fact that many people who suffer from this terrible condition have never been to war. What is it about our society that generates so much dis-ease and fails too often to recognize the needs and sufferings of others?

Editor: Mary, I understand how that would be more than frustrating.  Sadly it is an uphill battle for everyone right now and the federal government is positioning itself to reject most PTSD claims for combat vets over the price tag.  We might as well be living in the Soviet Union for all the care the VA has to offer.  We have correspondence from hundreds of veterans who are highly overlooked.  We are working on an hour long documentary on PTSD right now and I can promise you that the non-military component of this will not be overlooked.  Thank you for writing, sorry the mental health community in this nation is such a first-grader in the bigger picture.

I am glad to see this is coming out more. I just read a few of your articles and it is amazing what I fear sometimes is really true and I just have yet to find any cooberating evidence. Today I am going to the VA for my mindful meditation class, court ordered because of a incident when I lost control of myself after quiting mj. I told the VA doctors I was aftraid to say too much because to me they are now the enemy and they are doing more harm than good with there information based, psycho b.s. assessments and profilling than anything else or anyone else. But here I go again to do nothing more than build a wall of defense up and try not to let them know too much about how I really fell. Great article's Dr leveque, and Kudos Tim King for putting it all out there. Maybe if more of us would come out of hiding and speak our piece and stand up to the MIB with there little note pads things would change.
