(NORWALK, Calif.) - The State of California issued an Amber Alert Tuesday afternoon after two children were reportedly abducted in Norwalk earlier in the afternoon. Investigators say the children's father left them in the vehicle with the engine running while he went inside a business for a few minutes. The abductor reportedly jumped into the vehicle and drove off with the children inside. Noel Vasquez a 5-year old Hispanic male, 3 feet tall, weighing 45 pounds with brown hair. He was last seen wearing white shirt with red Spiderman shorts. Sheryl Lynn Vasquez a 2-year old Hispanic female, 2 feet tall, weighing 25 pounds. She was last seen wearing a pink shirt with flowers and white shorts with dots. The suspect is an unknown Hispanic male last seen wearing a white shirt and dark shorts. He has a shaved head. The suspect vehicle is a 2005 dark blue Toyota Scion with California tag number 5HPC820. The car has dark tinted windows.
