(AGOURA HILLS, Calif.) - One of the better family related reporters I've ever had the pleasure of working with, our writer Bruce Sallan, has launched a new Website where people can directly connect with him, and make arrangements for a variety of valuable writing services. The author of the popular column "A Dad’s Point-of-View", says he is very proud to announce brucesallan.com.

Live link: Ask Bruce for Advice

I am glad that a showcase now exists for his top-quality, widely useful and often timeless articles.

Bruce explores many situations that the average writer might skim over, and as he tries to get to the bottom of the main issue of whatever perplexing dilemma might be at hand, he explains to his readers what worked, what didn't and why.

Bruce is funny and witty and he doesn't hesitate to let his readers know that every situation can't be solved, at least not easily or directly. That is part of life and sometimes the questions simply outnumber the answers. In spite of how overwhelming the challenges might sometimes seem to be, the situations he delves into are all things that face the average set of parents.

The new Website will allow visitors to see many examples of Bruce's writing and become more acquainted with his professional history through his credits and resume, which are part of the new site.

Bruce hopes to use the site as a bridge and introduction to more publications that seek the type of content he can and already does offer.

He explains that, "Its primary goal is to provide editors, publishers, and readers an outlet to read past columns and blogs, hire me for writing or speaking engagements, view photo galleries, as well as enjoy additional interactive features."

A former TV executive with one of the major networks in Southern California, Bruce says the site will also include the unique Ask Bruce For Advice section, reader comments, and a contact page.

Bruce's articles are a delightful addition to the Salem-News.com lineup, and they have been and continue to be, very popular. The writer he is today, is not the TV executive of his previous life. For many years, Bruce was part of a media money game that put cash count in front of content. Sadly, the mindset dominated TV then and it still does today.

He exited that industry in pursuit of a more wholesome existence, and while you could say his life was shaped by the years in Hollywood, Hollywood does not define Bruce Sallan.

In fact over the years, he grew increasingly discontent with the programming his network was generating, particularly in the area of made-for-TV movies.

He left that life behind and soon found himself in the role of a single father for his two boys.

Then Bruce met the woman he believes he will spend the rest of his life with. They are now moving forward with their plans and many of his stories reflect the wonderful adventures, trials and tribulations that the Sallan family experiences.

His column "A Dad’s Point-of-View" began about four years ago, when Bruce was hired as a columnist for a local paper.

"I decided to expand my reach at the end of 2008. So I began my self-syndicating efforts by sending out literally thousands of emails. I was thrilled with the response as in a few short months, my columns now appear in over 50 newspapers and Web sites here in the U.S. and internationally."

He says the interest in his column keeps growing, and now there are sites carrying my column in the U.K., India, Canada, and Australia.

Bruce was hired as a blogger to write an exclusive blog for momlogic.com, called "Just A Guy" and he has also appeared on webcasts and radio talk shows in recent months.

"The subjects I cover include parenting, raising boys, dating as a single parent, internet dating advice, marriage advice, blending families and dealing with step-parenting, all the ups and downs of separation and divorce, as well as the general parenting perspective from a man’s point-of-view which, I fervently assert, is different from a woman’s!"

I hope you visit brucesallan.com and remember that if you are in need of a writer, Bruce may be among the best you will find. I'm his editor, I would know!

He is humble about his television life and plays it down, but I can tell you that he spent time around some of the most famous entertainers in the world. Check out his new site and be sure to consider Bruce Sallan for your professional writing needs.
