Emir of the State of Sana'a Killed in Clashes With Security Forces in the Yemeni Capital

(SALEM, Ore.) - A security services investigation led to identity one of the two terrorists who were killed days ago in the capital Sana'a.

Imad Ahmed Mohammed Ismail Shas, is the so-called Emir of the state of the Sanaa, an al-Qaeda-linked terrorist group. Two terrorists were killed during an attack on home of the commander of the Third Brigade armored Republican Guard, Brigadier Gen. Fouad Abdullah on Azzira’a Street in Sana'a.

The security source told the official Yemeni news agency that Shas was moving to implement its criminal planes by different names and fake and identities such as “Nibras, San'aani, Shaker, Addob and sami”.

“The security operation that led to death of Shas is an achievement due to his great influence on planning and conducting terrorist attacks and related incidents in the country”, the security source added.
