(ROME) - The Israeli aggression comes just after the arrest of an Israeli spy network of three men and a woman in Daria (*), that was leading operations of the terrorist group al-Nusra, according to our correspondent in Syria. [SC]

The Syrian General Command of the Army and Armed Forces said in his 30/01/2013 statement that :

- Israeli warplanes violated Syrian airspace on Wednesday dawn and bombarded directly a scientific research center responsible for raising the levels of resistance and self-defense in Jamraya area in Damascus Countryside.

- this attack came after Israel and other countries that oppose the Syrian people utilized their pawns in Syria to attack select vital and military locations in an attempt to undermine Syria’s support for the resistance and just rights in the region, with these pawns succeeding and failing to strike at sites such as air defense systems over a period of almost two years.

- Israeli warplanes snuck from the north of Al-Sheikh Mountain, flying at a low altitude and below radars, heading to Jamraya in Damascus Countryside where a branch of a scientific research center is located and bombarded the location before sneaking away.

- the aggression resulted in considerable material damages and destruction to the building, in addition to a vehicular development center and a garage, martyring two workers and injuring five others.

- the allegations of some media outlets that the Israeli warplanes targeted a convoy headed from Syria to Lebanon are baseless, with the General Command affirming that the Israeli warplane targeted a scientific research facility in blatant violation of Syrian sovereignty and airspace.

Comment from a Syrian citizen in Damascus

The inhabitants of the regions near Jimraya - the location of the Scientific Research institutions that have been bombarded say that :

- They were terrified by the violent destruction and shrapnel that scattered everywhere and the destruction of their windows in a circle of more than 1 km. The sky has been lighted!

- Nobody noticed the noise of an aircraft. Military experts believe that the Israeli fighter launched its missiles 15 km far away from the target (it is possible to hit targets from a distance up to 30 km by fighter planes)

- The Israeli fighters entered Syria from Zabadani on the Lebanese borders which is the nearest point from Lebanon to the target location (Jimraya), around 25 km

End

This article is alleging that the Israelis are organizing the opposition fighters to attack Assad military installations. Another stupid joke by the Syrian regime supporters. They think they have fool the world, but the only people they fooled are themselves. What this online news should report is how panicky Assad has become after the Israeli air strikes and what retaliatory response the Syrian regime and the Syrian military are taking apart from making verbal noises typical of cowards.
