Sen. Joseph Biden Enters 2008 Presidential Race

Biden, a six-term senator, is the eighth Democrat to enter the 2008 White House race.

(WASHINGTON, D.C.) - Sen. Joseph Biden of Delaware announced Wednesday in a video statement posted on his website www.joebiden.com that he has filed the necessary paperwork to become a candidate for President of the United States. "I am heartened by the response so many people have given to my call for a new direction in American foreign policy and to our focus on middle class concerns," said Sen. Biden. In the video statement, Biden stressed the disastrous results of the Bush Administration's failed policies and handling of Iraq. "In my view, President Bush has dug America into a very deep hole," said Sen. Biden. "This administration's mishandling of the war in Iraq may be the greatest foreign policy disaster of all time." Biden said the next president must be prepared to change our policy in Iraq immediately upon entering office, "The next President of the United States must be prepared to immediately step in and act – without hesitation – to end our involvement in the Iraq conflict without further destabilizing the Middle East and the world." Biden also emphasized the need for a change in direction more broadly in both foreign and domestic policies, stating, "To restore America's place in the world, we also must focus on the hopes and needs of our own people. The Bush administration – because it worships profits over people – has forgotten that to make America strong, we need a growing, vibrant middle-class. We need our citizens to feel secure. Secure that their children will be cared for if they are ill. Secure that they will have a retirement income they can count on. Secure that we are doing all we can to end global warming. Secure that their jobs and opportunities will not vanish like so many have in recent years." Biden said he would make a more formal presentation of the prospective policies and principles of a Biden Administration over the next several months. it's all Hollywood.,the parallel shadows run the show no matter who you hire., and they will hold onto power as long as you let them. Biden's there, like most of them in the past and up till twenty minutes ago, for the shallowest of rational, like me ,to promote his own image and stand in the spotlight long enuff to tell someone he's done it. Read the small print they all keep hidden.

though influential when needed,possibly manipulated by his own doings, I'd have to agree with Albert, he has a lot of baggage and he's a proffessional politician.,another Bubba and a waste of voters time if they want any real change. He's there to promote his own career as far as I can determine.

Senator Biden made a statement during the investigation near Waco, Texas about the Branch Davidian religious sect that they essential committed mass suicide and were responsible for there own deaths. 4 Federal agents were killed and 76 men, women and children. Biden was lying about the mass murder of American Citizens most of them women and children who were defenseless against commonly out of control Federal Law Enforcement Agencies....The Bureau of A.T.F. and the F.B.I. both tied to D.C. of course. Mr. Biden is the lowest of the low for making the statements that he did and trying to make it sound like everyone including the women and children were part of a Jonestown, Guyana self inflicted tragedy (innocents also). Our federally paid people were instructed to destroy people that were just different and had their right to bear arms against a domestic enemy. In this case it was the A.T.F. and F.B.I. who were the enemies of freedom. The American people have a right to fire at out of control government to remain a free people. Especially when government is firing on them first. Americans have forgotton what it means to be American. Mr. Biden you are a real lying piece of garbage that did not want to get in bad with organized law enforcement and you whored yourself with your statements. I suggest that people watch the documentary "Waco: The Rules of Engagement" before getting behind this phony, smiling person with no integrity. I would like to write more about him but it will not pass approval.
