Be Aware! Dense Fog Advisory Issued For Mid-Valley

(SALEM) - The National Weather Service Has Issued A Dense Fog Advisory Until 10:00 AM Thursday Morning.

Fog With Widespread Areas Of Dense Fog Blankets The Willamette Valley And Clark County This Morning.

Visibilities In Many Areas Are At Or Below One Quarter Of A Mile.

The Dense Fog Will Continue Through The Morning Commute Then Dissipate Between 10:00 and 11:00 AM.

In Addition Temperatures Are At Or Just Below Freezing In Many Areas.

As A Result Fog May Freeze On Roadways Bridges And Overpasses Resulting In Icy Roadways.

Temperatures Will Warm Above Freezing At Most Areas Between 8:00 And 9:00 AM.

A Dense Fog Advisory Means Visibilities Will Frequently Be Reduced To Less Than One Quarter Mile.

If Driving Slow Down Use Your Headlights And Leave Plenty Of Distance Ahead Of You.
