(LINCOLN CITY) - The Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce 40th Annual Super Auction begins Friday at 6:00 PM. This annual event will be televised in its entirety on Charter Channel 21 from Lincoln City to Tillamook, and on Channel 21 in Newport. The list of potential purchases spans the gamut, from diamond earrings and vacation packages to home décor and power tools to wine and cheese baskets to art and adventure. The Super Auction has it all right at your fingertips. No matter where you are, the Super Auction is just a click away thanks to the first-ever web cast. The bidding begins 6:00 PM on Friday and continues until midnight, then resumes at 10:00 AM Saturday thru midnight. Sunday’s bidding kicks off at 10:00 AM and ends at 2:00 PM. To place a bid, call 994-3434 or 800-769-7772. For those who prefer the “up close and personal” element of an auction, the public is welcome to experience the Super Auction live at the Historic Delake School, 540 NE Highway 101; or are invited to stay home and comfortable, and go to the website, www.lcchamber.com, and give the live web cast a whirl. The Cyber Sorcery, at 646 SE Highway 101 in Depoe Bay will show the auction web cast on a big-screen TV for the entire event. The 2007 Super Auction will also be televised in its entirety on Charter Channel 21 from Lincoln City to Tillamook. It will also be shown from 6:00 PM to midnight Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday from noon to 2:00 PM on Channel 21 (TLC TV) in Newport. The complete Hour-By-Hour listing of auction items is listed on the Chamber website. This is a dynamic event, and listings can change, so be sure to check the website or call the Chamber office at 541-994-3070 for the latest auction listing. The two “Super Hours” are: Hour #16 – Tanger Hour – featuring items from the stores of the Tanger Outlet Center; and Hour #24 – Power Hour – featuring 12 amazing items with a combined total value of more than $10,000. No matter what hour your bidding starts, anyone who bids to value or more is automatically entered into the Wheel of Winners. The winner of the wheel’s final spin on Sunday will take home a Champion Power Equipment 6750 Watt Portable Generator and 72-Hour Emergency Preparedness Kit, donated by Dollar Bonanza. This annual event helps the Lincoln City Chamber support local business, made possible by the hundreds of donors and volunteers who work to make it happen every year.
