Mid-Valley Schools Closed, Delayed Thursday Because of Snow

(SALEM) - Here are the latest school closures and delays from throughout the mid-valley: All schools are closed today for the Dallas, Silver Falls, Falls City, Amity, Perrydale, St. Paul, Dayton, Gervais, McMinnville, Yamhill-Carlton, Mt. Angel, and Willamina school districts. Community Action Head Start of Marion & Polk counties Dallas site. Western Mennonite closed, evening activities canceled. Scio no PM Kindergarten. PM buses on snow routes for bus #5 and bus #4. Newberg all PM buses on snow routes. All evening activities canceled. Schools will open two hours late in the Santiam Canyon, Sheridan, and Woodburn school districts. Schools will open two hours late with no morning kindergarten in the North Santiam school district. Dallas school district evening activities cancelled. Willamette ESD. WESD Yamhill Center is closed. Only the Chemeketa Community College McMinnville campus is delaying opening until 10:00 AM. Community Action Head Start of Marion & Polk counties no morning classes in Stayton and Woodburn. Dallas site is closed. North Santiam School District bus routes 14, 37, 39, 40, 42, 43 and 44 are on snow routes. The Molalla River School District is rescheduling its January 11th school board meeting to Thursday, January 18th. Morning buses are on snow routes for the McMinnville and Newberg school districts. Linn-Benton Community College Albany campus and Benton Center operating on normal schedule. Benton Center Leadership Corvallis meeting is cancelled. Lebanon Center and Sweet Home Center on 2 hour delay - open at 10:00 AM. NW Regional ESD Coast Region Tillamook and Clatsop Service Centers Closed. Medical: Legacy Health System: The following are closed: Outpatient rehab at Salmon Creek, Emanuel and Good Samaritan Hospitals, pediatric rehab at Salmon Creek and Emanuel, Good Samaritan outpatient cardiac rehab and the community club program, the Women's Wellness PT Clinic at Good Samaritan, Legacy Clinic Emanuel Children and Adolescents, the Good Samaritan audiology and vestibular lab, and the Children's Diabetes and Endocrine Center. The following will open at 10:00 AM: Legacy Clinic Good Samaritan, Legacy Clinic Northeast, Legacy Clinic Mount Hood, the Pediatric Neurology Clinic, and the Emanuel Pain Management Center. Outpatient rehab at Mount Hood Medical Center will open two hours late. The Legacy Salmon Creek Health Information Center is closed and all community health education classes – including the Know Your Numbers heart screening and the AARP Safe Driving class – are cancelled.
