(SALEM , Ore.) - Salem Police say they are on the lookout for items stolen from a wireless technology business in Salem early Wednesday morning. They are hoping to hear from someone from the public who has information about the suspects and burglary incident. Salem Police Department Spokesman Dave Okada says officers responded to a burglary alarm at the A.T.&T. Wireless Store, located at 200 Hawthorne Av SE, about 4:00 AM Wednesday.

"After arriving on the scene, the officers discovered that a window had been broken out to gain access to the business." But Okada says the thief or thieves had left prior to the officer's arrival.

He says forty of the new Apple I-Phones, along with various other cell phones and accessories had been taken.

"Consumers are warned to purchase such items only from reputable businesses," Okada said. Anyone with information is asked to telephone the Criminal Investigations Section at (503)588-6050.
