Poll: US, Pakistan, China, Afghanistan Biggest Threats to World Peace

United States was ranked as the greatest threat to the world peace by 24 percent of the countries, according to the survey report.

(KABUL) - According to a new poll report, United States of America, Pakistan, China and Afghanistan are the top four nations which poses threats to the world peace.

WIN/Gallup International conducted the global survey, where residents of 68 countries were questioned on everything from the global economy to politics and living conditions.

United States was ranked as the greatest threat to the world peace by 24 percent of the countries, according to the survey report.

Primarily Middle Eastern and North African countries affected by U.S. military intervention considered the U.S. as a threat.

Even the country’s allied nations viewed the U.S. with suspicion, with 17% of Canadians placing both Iran and the US as the biggest threats.

The survey report also revealed that Pakistan was the second nation after United States, where 8 percent of those who were questioned believe that the country poses threat to the world peace.

According to the survey, 6 percent of the countries believe that China is posing threat to global peace, while 5 percent believe that Afghanistan, Iran, Israel and North Korea are threatening the world peace.

I tend to disbelieve ANY "news story" that makes claims of "according to.." without linking source material to back their claims.
