(ISLAMABAD) - According to Pakistan Christian Post- PCP, the Central Executive Council of Pakistan Christian Congress PCC in its special meeting approved nomination of Mr. Farrukh Harry Saif as Chief Organizer of PCC.
The Pakistan Christian Congress PCC is a Christian political party and lobby group in Pakistan founded in 1985 and registered in Pakistan Election Commission. The party aims to safeguard and advocate the social, religious and political rights of Pakistani Christians.
Earlier, the President of Pakistan Christian Congress, Dr. Nazir S Bhatti, announced nomination of Mr. Harry Saif as Chief Organizer of PCC and welcomed him on joining Pakistan Christian Congress.
Mr. Farrukh Harry Saif is prominent Human Right activists and head of World Vision in Progress Foundation WVIP which provides free legal assistance and shelters to blasphemy accused Christian victims in Pakistan. WVIP also supports displaced and persecuted Pakistani Christians which have given him worldwide fame.
The leaders of Central Council of PCC has congratulated Mr. Saif and extended their full cooperation to reorganize PCC in Pakistan before forthcoming national general elections.
Farrukh welcomed the appointment and said that he would work to the entire satisfaction of his superior to organize the Pakistani Christians and PCC team in Pakistan to work in unity and with mutual understanding developing good interaction among them.
Meanwhile, Members of Punjab Council of PCC, Divisional and District Councils of PCC have congratulated Mr. Farrukh H. Saif on joining PCC and extended their hands to work with him in unity under his leadership.
