Second Suspect Arrested in Connection to Oregon Murder of Melissa Bauer

Melissa Bauer`s body was discovered on the morning of December 20th at Larwood Park, east of Scio.

(Albany) - 35-year old Tonya Lynn Neal-Strawn of Lebanon was arrested Friday by Linn County Sheriff`s Detectives on Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Hindering Prosecution. She is lodged in the Linn County Jail and bail is set at $306,000.

Sheriff`s Detectives believe that Neal-Strawn was present at the time of the murder and also took part in destroying evidence related to the crime.

Melissa Bauer`s body was discovered on the morning of December 20th at Larwood Park, east of Scio. She had been stabbed to death.

Kenneth McPhail was arrested in Siletz on December 26th for the murder after an intensive investigation by the Sheriff`s Office. McPhail is currently lodged without bail in the Linn County Jail.
