Ground Zero: Working to Build The World House in 2014

Let us resolve in this New Year to reach out and engage more people to say YES to a world without Trident and all nuclear weapons... YES to a world that looks a whole lot more like Dr. King's "World House."

(BANGOR, WA) - Ground Zero Center for Nonviolent Action is leaping out of the starting gate this New Year with a fresh issue of the January 2014 Ground Zero Newsletter!!!

From saying NO To NEW TRIDENT to the continuing legal action against the Bangor Second Explosives Handling Wharf, the GZ Newsletter is all the news that's fit to print, and then some.

January is also an important month for us with a host of events we are either planning, supporting, or participating. Please join us as you are able.

• January 7th - Leafleting at the Trigger Gate at Bangor (6:30 AM)
• January 12th - 20th - MLK Peace Walk, begins in Olympia and ends at Ground Zero
• January 15th - Shared Eucharist at the Bangor Main Gate, led by Fr. William "Bix" Bichsel of the Tacoma Catholic Worker (at Noon)
• January 18th - "Building The World House", an all-day event at Ground Zero Center, including a screening of the documentary "The Ghosts of Jeju, nonviolence workshop, music with Holly Gwinn Graham, and a vigil and action at the Bangor Trident base
• January 20th - Seattle MLK Rally & March; GZ will participate, marching with our inflatable Trident missile and leafleting
