(LAS VEGAS, Nv.) - A shootout in a Las Vegas, Nevada federal courthouse left two people dead today. Amazingly, a passer-by with a cell phone recorded the sound of what are clearly dozens of rounds being fired shortly after the building had opened, at 8:00 a.m. KVVU FOX-5 in Henderson reports that a court security officer was killed as well as a gunman. The deadly shooting took place at the Lloyd George Federal Building in downtown Las Vegas. It was also reported that a third person, a Deputy U.S. Marshal, was also injured. Employees were sent running for cover as dozens of Las Vegas Metro Police officers and federal agents converged on the scene. The courthouse is located on Las Vegas Boulevard, between Bridger and Bonneville avenues. Nevada Senator Harry Reid released the following statement regarding the shooting that took place this morning at the Lloyd D. George Federal Courthouse in Las Vegas: “My thoughts are with the victims of today’s shooting and their families. The law enforcement personnel who protect the courthouse put their lives at risk every day to keep the people who are inside safe and I greatly appreciate their service.” At this point the shooter and victims have not yet been identified. To Amanda; There weren't any goddamn handguns used in this incident. Stop with your damn antigun comments and remember our historical freedoms this country was founded on...

It will get crazier, because this Congress does NOT want to prohibit handguns, yet they control, or prohibit so many of our everyday personal habits.
