Latest Salem Area School Closures and Delays

There are currently no major traffic problems being reported in the Salem area.

(SALEM) - Here are the latest school closures and delays from the Salem-News.com Newsroom.

Marion, Polk & Yamhill Co. Schools:

Dallas Sch. Dist.: AM buses on snow rts.

Falls City Sch. Dist.: 2 hrs late, no AM kind.

Sheridan Sch. Dist.: 2 hrs late.

Willamina Sch. Dist.: Buses on snow rts.

Yamhill-Carlton Sch. Dist.: All buses except Route 5 on snow routes. Schools start on time.

Monday: Showers in the morning...then a chance of showers in the afternoon. Snow level 1000 feet. Snow accumulation an inch or less. Highs 40 to 45. South wind 10 to 15 mph.

Tonight: Showers likely. Lows around 35. South wind 10 to 15 mph.

Tuesday: Rain in the morning...then showers in the afternoon. Highs around 45. South wind 10 to 20 mph.

Tuesday Night: Showers likely. Snow level 1000 feet after midnight. Lows 30 to 35. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

Wednesday: Partly cloudy with a chance of showers. Snow level 500 feet. Highs 40 to 45. Southwest wind 10 to 15 mph.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy with a chance of showers. Lows 30 to 35

Traffic Report:

Reports of rain-snow mix in the higher elevations of the coast range, Portland-area, Salem-area.

No reports of any traffic delays or problem in the Salem-area at this time.
