Reverend Benny & Mister Sid's At Your Service #33

Benny and Sid #33
By Glen Bledsoe

(Salem) - While the Republicans may not be in power, it does not mean they are powerless. By obstruction, by bluster and by traveling in time they mean to undo the work of the New Deal, stem the growth of the middle class, and back stab Barack Obama.

As you may recall in the last episode a hapless group of Young Republicans traveled back in time to 1920 and meant to violently man-handle Franklin Roosevelt.

Unfortunately for them it was the wrong Roosevelt--Frank Roosevelt of Cincinnati, Ohio--a Roosevelt not even distantly related to the future president.

These young men are cooling their heels in a 1920's slammer for the moment, and may otherwise find themselves unstuck from our story for all practical purposes.

Instead witness two femmes fatales of the Grand Old Party assuming roles in which they intend to uncover information which can be leaked to cable television. Information about which ring wing reporters can have temper tantrums before cameras digitally recording the event for future generations to pantomime and ridicule.
