Dr. Burzynski's Natural Cure for Cancer: One Family's Story

(PORTLAND, Ore.) - My family has personally watched and experienced the miracles that come from the clinic and treatments provided by Dr. Burzynski.

On the first of July in 2010 my life was turned upside down.  My mom, an overall healthy and active 57 year old, went to the ER because of cognitive problems.  The CT scan showed that there was a mass in her brain.  After transferring to a higher level hospital and undergoing more tests, we received the most feared diagnosis.  July 8, 2010 we were told that she has Stage IV Adenocarcinoma of the Lung that had metastasized to the spine, lymph nodes, and over 40 lesions in the brain.  My dad asked, “How long does she have?” The oncologist responded, “Three weeks, possibly a couple more if we start radiation and chemotherapy right away.” That moment was my worst fear coming true.   Now thinking back on that day I have several different emotions, strength, frustration, enlightenment and happiness.  Yes it is true, I am happy, because my mom is on her way to living a cancer free life. 

From watching so many other family and friends suffer from the side effects of standard cancer treatment and ultimately still die, we knew that wasn’t an option.   Our only option was to go to the Burzynski Clinic in Houston Texas.  My dad had studied the Burzynski Clinic for the past seven years and researched on his success.

What we found first, through other patient stories, was they never experienced harmful and toxic side effects.  We also saw that he has had many patients that are long-time survivors of terminal cancers.   When we called the Burzysnki Clinic, they were more than happy to provide us with names and phone numbers of patients who have been treated.   We also watched the movie trailers for Burzynski, The Movie, on YouTube.  It was very moving to listen to the stories those families told and the battle that Dr Burzynski had with the FDA.  In those court proceedings, the FDA tried to keep the efficacy of his treatment out of the courtroom.  Ultimately, he became the first Doctor to solely win against the FDA. 

We didn’t find the negative remarks and questionable success that you will find with other treatments.  The web can be such a wealth of information, good or bad, and anyone can post anything no matter the accuracy.  We continued to find more and more positive stories and comments about Dr Burzynski and the Clinic in Houston, Texas.

Now 6 months later, we have documented evidence from CT , PET scans, and biopsies that the lung cancer is dead, spine and lymph node lesions are not visible, and the brain lesions are diminished by 60%.

As I tell people our story with the Burzynski Clinic I constantly get the same question, “If this treatment works, why is it not available everywhere?” Simple answer is, the FDA, PhRma, American Cancer Society, National Cancer Institute, and Government are not looking for a cure.  There are millions to be made in TREATING cancer.  No money is made in CURING cancer.   Cancer is “big business”.

Here are some facts to consider and think about:

• Cancer is the second leading cause of death in America.  Heart disease is number one at 616,067 deaths per year.
• In the US for 2010, It is estimated there will be 1,529,560 new cancer cases, 569,490 in estimated deaths, which is over 1500 deaths per day in the US.  With no anticipated decline in these numbers.

• 1 in 2 men and 1 in 3 women have the probability of having cancer in their lifetime.  The risk of dying from cancer isn’t much better.  1 in 4 men and 1 in 5 women will die from cancer.

Dr Burzynski has been following FDA protocols and standards since 1977 in order to get his new drug passed.  He is now in Phase III of clinic trials for the Antineoplastons.  The FDA will make the approval process much easier if you have backing from pharmaceutical companies.  The average time frame for PhRma to get a new drug passed through the FDA is 3-4 months.

There are many other types of treatment that are kept quiet from the public because of the cure rate for cancer.  Look into those options, find one that fits for you and believe in it.  Your attitude for success is three quarters in the battle of cancer.
