Brian Lister was then hired by the Seaside Police Department as a fulltime police officer between May 12th 2003 and January 24th, 2007. Strovink says that during his career at the Seaside Police Department, Brian Lister was a member of the Seaside Police Department Tactical Team. Immediately following his position in Seaside, Brian Lister transitioned immediately to the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office. As a new hire, Strovink says Deputy Lister successfully participated in the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, Crisis Intervention Training session. "This forty-hour block of instruction prepares Sheriff's personnel on how best to recognize and contend with individuals that are exhibiting mental health related issues."
