(Salem) - In accordance with his campaign promise, Barack Obama's first action as president was to put aside the politics of division and reach out across the aisle to those of the loyal opposition. Unfortunately his opponents made no such promise and wasted no time in dragging Obama down regardless of the results to the state of the nation. So much for a team of rivals. But Barack is a Chicago boy, and as such must have some sense of what politics means and what to do with members under your care who don't know how to play well with others. Meanwhile the Right Wing Trolls are defecating their odiferous dogma over the internet as if their philosophies hadn't all but crashed the world as we know it. Follow this week's installment written by Mr. Sid and performed by the At-Your-Service Players which focuses on this issue while developing the sidebar question of what Rush Limbaugh carries in his lunchbox. Editor: I was being tongue-in-cheek. The big flashing graphic has gotta grab the attention of even the most casual visitor. That way they might actually read and comment about the comic and not veer off on another topic having nothing whatever to do with the comic. I don't do sidebar dog-fights.
Editor: Got it, thanks! And that is a great visual. I keep my nose too close to the grindstone sometimes...

So, anybody having any trouble finding where to click to read the comic?
Editor: It is working fine at this end, feel free to be more specific and we'll be glad to help

From my take on the below post it's not the media who has failed to bring sunshine to the Bailout Bill process, but the behind the closed door dealmakers. Heck even the republicans said they were shut out in the writing process, so as were we the public. No this does not correspond to Obama's statement on having transparency. Me thinks, the new census policy will also be designed without public viewing, and many more things if we have seen the trend that has been in place for several weeks now continues unabated.

"Anon": Thank you for perceptive Comment, which reflects very well the continuing destructive failures of the midstream media to carry out well their Constitutionally protected role to fully inform the people --and provide an open channel your last sentence outlines very neatly.

Glen clever performance. The following is one of Sen. Obama's statements he made during his campaign. How do you think he is doing with it? "End the Practice of Writing Legislation Behind Closed Doors: As president, Barack Obama will restore the American people's trust in their government by making government more open and transparent. Obama will work to reform congressional rules to require all legislative sessions, including committee mark-ups and conference committees, to be conducted in public. By making these practices public, the American people will be able to hold their leaders accountable for wasteful spending and lawmakers won't be able to slip favors for lobbyists into bills at the last minute."

Glen: Beats longtime file kept ever since 60s --except for that current clip from L's grocerylist. 'Ray for short/but/hot format!
