Life Changers Metro Community Church of Salem and Keizer Grand Opening Red Carpet Gala takes place Saturday, March 1, 2014, 5:00-6:00 PM at Life Changers Church, 210 Liberty St. SE, Salem, OR 97301. The red carpet and inauguration and dedication service goes from 6:00-8:00 PM.

Host: Lewis Marklin Mash, Hollywood TV Producer and Rap Performer. Mash, is a member of Life Changers Church since moving to Keizer, OR from Hollywood, CA where he started at the bottom and worked his way up from intern camera man and editor for the Los Angeles Dodgers and ABC News intern in Santa Barbara, CA to senior editor and Producer at KEYT TV (ABC) where Mash produced his first TV show entitled “Cottage Health Life,” which aired regionally throughout the California central coast.

Today, Mash, is highly regarded as the producer of national TV shows and pilots such as Emmy nominated ADHDtv (Com Cast Cable), That’s Funny! (kid’s game show pilot starring comedian Georgia Van Cuylenburg), Ultimate Women Challenge (female MMA reality fight show, NBC Universal), Girls Gone Fishing (America One Television), USL Breakaways (FOX Soccer Channel), Living Better with Steve Spitz (ION Television/ ION Life) and is currently host and producer of Icon News (WiseCast Cable) which also airs locally in Salem Oregon on CCTV, where Mash and famous red carpet reporter/Hollywood insider, Sheri Nadel (Golden Globes, Oscars), utilize their Hollywood backstage clearances to interview today’s hottest celebrities via live satellite-to-studio-tape and live from the very red carpets of Beverly Hills and Hollywood where celebs are out in flux. In the recent past Mash has even been rated as one of Hollywood’s top 500 names by iMDB (Internet Movie Data Base), which is considered the industry’s authority on the matter. It is an accomplishment that can only be claimed by a select few members of the celebrity database that contains over 3 million active entertainment professionals in its ranks.

Mash has walked on and worked red carpets with celebrities that include Khloe Kardashian, Los Angeles Lakers Players that include Lamar Odom and Meta World Peace (aka Ron Artest), John Travolta, Robin Williams, Ryan Reynolds, Sandra Bullock, Eric Roberts, Neve Campbell, Louis Gossett Jr., Patricia Arquette and many more. Mash, who grew up in Los Angeles, CA broke into the entertainment business as a teenager. He was a teen pop rap artist who appeared and performed on “Into the Night: with Rick Dees” several times and the “Arsenio Hall Show” as a warm up act.

Mash first hit the Hollywood red carpet scene in 2008, as the controversial host of ADHDtv, when he worked the star studded rally parties of Senator Barak Obama in support of his run for presidency. Mash has very close ties to the inner circle of the Hollywood Industry’s Democratic party. Mash was also, then a member of world-renowned “Agape Live Fellowship” church in Los Angeles, with Reverend Michael Bernard Beckwith who is known best for his commentary on “The Universal Laws of Attraction” in the movie “The Secret,” and whose highly acclaimed massive church choir sang live at the Obama presidential inauguration in Washington D.C. Agape Live is home to many of Hollywood’s young thriving artists who desire to make a positive impact on the entertainment industry and caters to the needs of today’s celebrities much the way Mash states his desire to make Life Changers Church the home to Salem’s talented pool of leaders and performers who have yet to discover the full potential of their power and reach the definition of the functional community.

My goal as an entertainer and According to Mash, “Church plays a huge part in every sound and sane entertainment professional is to pull together likeminded artists and leaders to form a networking alliance, whose goal is to see the greater good, to create positivity and achieve a level of excellence in all aspects of our community; to claim Victory over all of our dearest of endeavors together as a family. I found that Life Changers Church stands for all of these things that I value. At Life Changers there is no one person placed above another and we are all of the utmost importance to the church staff and their personal mission statement. I have watched Pastor Pemble address high society with both, grand promise and gentle reproof, and have also sat in the pews at the Union Gospel Mission, where Pastor Pemble addressed each and every homeless person with passion and respect, investing in their hopes and dreams through admonition, exhortation and counsel with his worldly experience coupled with his vast knowledgeable use of God’s Word to help build new spiritual foundations in people who were hurting for answers. When I saw these things, it really meant a lot to me on many different levels and I thought to myself ‘This is what I want to be a part of.”

Meet The Pastors of Life Changers Church: Both, the Senior Pastor Kevin Pemble and his lovely wife, Co-Pastor Gloria Pemble, are lifelong residents of Willamette Valley, growing up in Salem, where both graduated from McKay High School. The two started in their ministry together as the

Youth Pastors at New Beginnings Church from 2001-2003. The two then moved on to become the Associate Pastors at Life Christian Center in Portland where they learned the ins and outs of building a metro church in the city. Life Changers was founded in 2009 by the Pemble’s and finally finds its rightful place among the buildings of the downtown scene in its new location, up stairs at 210 Liberty St. SE, in downtown Salem where all walks of life and practitioners of all different kinds of old school and modern thoughts alike are invited to discover the promises inlayed in God’s truth. It is important at Life Changers that each and every person be treated as though the very world we live in depended on them, that their voice can make a difference and that their dreams can be achieved when they tap into God’s power for their lives. With God’s power we believe that together we can make the cities of Salem and Keizer the most desirable and highest functioning communities in the state of Oregon. Who will be invited to the Life Changers Red Carpet? City leaders, famous locals and music performers (Pop, Hip Hop, Rock, Country)

Red Carpet and Media Coverage: 1 Professional photographer will be on hand to get shots of each person, couple or music group to walk the carpet. The pics will be posted on the church website: LCChurchSK.com as well as in the church Facebook feed. Lew Marklin will be present to interview each entrant for Icon News TV show on CCTV. Some of the select interviews will be posted on the Hollywood Icon News YouTube channel among many celebrity interview clips, to be promoted on a social media channel that gets thousands of monthly visitors. Tweets and pictures of local celebs will also be sent out to Mash’s 67,000 Twitter followers. Pics and video clips will be furnished upon request to each red carpet entrant for promotional uses and public endorsement. Some pics will be sent out to local media outlets along with a press release for post media coverage. Other CCTV shows will also be invited along with local radio. It is also suggested that carpet entrants network with each other, take group photos with other local faces to cross promote through their social media outlets.
