(MCMINNVILLE, Ore.) - Update to the earlier press release: UPDATE PUBLISHED NEW YEAR'S DAY AT 2:35 P.M. McMinnville Police Department investigators have identified two (2) suspects and the vehicle the suspects were seen leaving the area in. The McMinnville Police Department is seeking information regarding the whereabouts of the following two (2) suspects who now have temporary warrants issued for their arrest for the crime of Assault in the 1st Degree. • Kenneth Ray Reid DOB 05/20/74 White Male 5'10" 190 Brown Hair and Brown Eyes. Last known address is Amity, Oregon • Antonio Anthony Gonzales DOB 09/07/77 Hispanic Male 5'06" 220 Brown Hair and Brown Eyes. Last known address is Newberg, Oregon Suspect Vehicle: • Silver 2000 Dodge Durango Oregon License Plate 121EMP Anyone with information regarding their whereabouts should contact their local law enforcement authorities. Both Reid and Gonzales should be considered armed and dangerous. Persons with information concerning the incident are asked to contact Detective Sgt Dwayne Willis or Detective Toby Carver at 503.434.6500. Original release
McMinnville Police say a man was shot last night at the Circle K convenience store located at 840 NE 3rd Street. Officers responded to the scene at 6:38 p.m. and located a Hispanic man, identified as 36-year old Javier Vage Jr. of Salem, who had been shot in the hand and leg. McMinnville EMS responded and treated Mr. Vage for his injuries. He was transported to the Willamette Valley Medical Center for treatment. It appears his injuries are not life threatening, according to a news release from McMinnville PD. Additionally, investigators learned the suspect fled the store parking lot in a light colored SUV type vehicle. From statements given to investigators it appears as though the suspect knew the victim and this is not a random act. Anyone with information regarding this investigation is asked to contact Detective Sgt Dwayne Willis or Detective Toby Carver at 503.434.6500.
