(SALEM, Ore.) - Police say a gunman fired several shots near a crowd of people early this morning in the parking lot of The Triangle Bar, at the intersection of Triangle and South Liberty in Salem. Information is sketchy, Salem Police arrived on the scene shortly after the shots were fired, around 1:15 a.m. The suspect reportedly fled in a maroon van with an Oregon license plate. Nobody was shot. Salem police Lt. Mark Keagle says a black adult male was involved in a disturbance with some female patrons of the bar, in the parking lot, when he went to his car, and retrieved a gun. He reportedly fired 4 to 6 shots in the air, with one round striking the roof line of the building, no other slugs were recovered, and no one was hit, or injured. The suspect then left in a maroon mini van, possibly a Plymouth.
