Frankly Henry I have no idea what the email address of this IP is, I really don't. There are many wireless signals out there and some are stronger than others. People as those of you who post on this site, as on most sites, the majority do so using a nickname, or whatever. I personally have no interest in sharing my busines or family email addresses with people I do not know, and let's be honest, the majority of posters throughout the world internet do the same. When I post data or some facts I will always provide a primary source when requested, this is far different than stating one's opinion, which the people on the far left simply cannot stand when it's in conflict with their propaganda. I state once again, I do not take personally any of the insults that have come my way, but some of you would be quite surprised by exactly what I do know...not arrogance people, just a lot of experience. I also continually change my mind on various things when I get new (and verifiable) information. The far left never changes course nor do they evaluate new information, they always have their blinders on, they never learn, nor do they realize that they are on a fools errand...as are most useful idiots.

To all: Amazing to what lengths "Universal Man", onetime neocon nonentity, will go to advise us all on any, all and then some topics of choice, always without any word of where he cometh from, now multiple in origin and meanings, covering everything from journalism to world travel and climate conversion...even public service, he says, but as always without record or any possible way to check his now surely psychotic-fantasy seeming self-described situations. All so easily correctable by simple ID to editor --but of course that will never happen since to do so reveals ongoing fraud and thus self-implodes. Perhaps more healthy might be actual revelation from his own clues, if indeed any tell truth, which is highly improbable. As Neal puts it, we pays our money and takes our chances. Anyone ready to bet on this guy ? If so, better pick and choose which of his many persona you wish to back.

Jefferson - Keep telling yourself that. Considering your ongoing cowardice re:identifying yourself your selfserving claims to authority and experience ring hollow, especially since they are counter to the vast array of experts whose credentials are up for public scrutiny. If those claiming global warming are wrong we waste a little money... if they are right and nothing is done you have global catastrophes across the board on all levels. Sorry but smart money bets on the global warming crowd instead of the neocon naysayers such as yourself. Ah well...

Neal, I'm taking a guess, but I may just have more of a background in climatology (graduate course work, coupled with world travel that allowed me to apply the empirical with the theoretical) than you, ergo, I know how to evaluate data, I do not need someone else to do that like you and the other sheep do. Mark my words, global cooling has begun, and if I'm wrong, then we have a longer growing season, that's it! Please note that the 5 hottest days of the 20th century were pre-WWII. You have just no idea how you have fallen for the barker's propaganda. Do you not see their end game? Obviously not, I feel bad for people who cannot look at all sides of an issue, it really hurts your ability to learn and grow.
Neal Feldman December 21, 2007 2:46 pm (Pacific time)
Jefferson - You continue to prove your ignorance. Long term trends (global warming) are not disproven by short term aberration data. If you even had half a clue you would know that. But, sadly, your lackings cause you to continue to shove your foot deeper down your esophagus. Ah well...

A friend of mine took a bunch of pictures of a funnel cloud in Keizer last week. That would have made interesting news had it touched down.

People you need to update yourself on the climate situation: U.S. Senate Report: Over 400 Prominent Scientists Disputed Man-Made Global Warming Claims in 2007 Senate Report Debunks "Consensus" INTRODUCTION: Over 400 prominent scientists from more than two dozen countries recently voiced significant objections to major aspects of the so-called "consensus" on man-made global warming. These scientists, many of whom are current and former participants in the UN IPCC (Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change), criticized the climate claims made by the UN IPCC and former Vice President Al Gore. The new report issued by the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee’s office of the GOP Ranking Member details the views of the scientists, the overwhelming majority of whom spoke out in 2007. Even some in the establishment media now appears to be taking notice of the growing number of skeptical scientists. In October, the Washington Post Staff Writer Juliet Eilperin conceded the obvious, writing that climate skeptics "appear to be expanding rather than shrinking." Many scientists from around the world have dubbed 2007 as the year man-made global warming fears “bites the dust.” (LINK) This blockbuster Senate report lists the scientists by name, country of residence, and academic/institutional affiliation. It also features their own words, biographies, and weblinks to their peer reviewed studies and original source materials as gathered from public statements, various news outlets, and websites in 2007. This new “consensus busters” report is poised to redefine the debate. Many of the scientists featured in this report consistently stated that numerous colleagues shared their views, but they will not speak out publicly for fear of retribution. Atmospheric scientist Dr. Nathan Paldor, Professor of Dynamical Meteorology and Physical Oceanography at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, author of almost 70 peer-reviewed studies, explains how many of his fellow scientists have been intimidated.

Know the weather score people: Al Gore says global warming is a planetary emergency. It is difficult to see how this can be so when record low temperatures are being set all over the world. In 2007, hundreds of people died, not from global warming, but from cold weather hazards. Since the mid-19th century, the mean global temperature has increased by 0.7 degrees Celsius. This slight warming is not unusual, and lies well within the range of natural variation. Carbon dioxide continues to build in the atmosphere, but the mean planetary temperature hasn't increased significantly for nearly nine years. Antarctica is getting colder. Neither the intensity nor the frequency of hurricanes has increased. The 2007 season was the third-quietest since 1966. In 2006 not a single hurricane made landfall in the U.S. Last January, $1.42 billion worth of California produce was lost to a devastating five-day freeze. Thousands of agricultural employees were thrown out of work. At the supermarket, citrus prices soared. In the wake of the freeze, California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger asked President Bush to issue a disaster declaration for affected counties. A few months earlier, Mr. Schwarzenegger had enthusiastically signed the California Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006, a law designed to cool the climate. California Sen. Barbara Boxer continues to push for similar legislation in the U.S. Senate. In April, a killing freeze destroyed 95 percent of South Carolina's peach crop, and 90 percent of North Carolina's apple harvest. At Charlotte, N.C., a record low temperature of 21 degrees Fahrenheit on April 8 was the coldest ever recorded for April, breaking a record set in 1923. On June 8, Denver recorded a new low of 31 degrees Fahrenheit. Denver's temperature records extend back to 1872. Recent weeks have seen the return of unusually cold conditions to the Northern Hemisphere. On Dec. 7, St. Cloud, Minn., set a new record low of minus 15 degrees Fahrenheit. On the same date, record low temperatures were also recorded in Pennsylvania and Ohio. Extreme cold weather is occurring worldwide. On Dec. 4, in Seoul, Korea, the temperature was a record minus 5 degrees Celsius. Nov. 24, in Meacham, Ore., the minimum temperature was 12 degrees Fahrenheit colder than the previous record low set in 1952. The Canadian government warns that this winter is likely to be the coldest in 15 years.
