(SALEM) - Are you a lawyer? Do you really care about justice? Do you have what it takes to look beyond potential retaliation from the state of Oregon? If you are genuine then read on because you need to know the story of one of Oregon's most important whistleblowers. There are few cases so dire and aggravating. If you are another weak willed counselor then this appeal is not for you. William Coleman is a deeply religious man who moved to Oregon to take a job as a corrections officer in our prison system (Oregon Dept. of Corrections) and began experiencing racism on the first day on the job. As William continued to report violations, he quickly began losing grace with the higher ups at the Oregon State Penitentiary. In spite of this awkward situation with Coleman calling attention to serious race-related problems in the prison, officials sent Mr. Coleman to the area law enforcement academy, known as the DPSST (Department of Public Safety Standards and Training) in Salem. Mr. Coleman returned after graduating from the Academy and the same patterns were in place. The criminal violations Mr. Coleman reported included:
Try to imagine...
Your daughter or wife was raped. The suspect has a witness that says the charges are false. The witness, convicted pedophile and wife beater Joe Salazar, makes up a stupid and insulting story about how the victim was not raped but consented... Can you imagine a court taking that seriously? - Officials failing to address a threat against an inmate's life; that inmate was stabbed and nearly killed after Coleman's report of the threat was dismissed by prison officials. - Mail tampering: a guard wrote racist scrawls in an inmate's magazine (subscription) which prison officials went to great effort to locate, rather than addressing the racism. - Coverup and complicity between numerous agencies; Oregon State Police, BOLI in Oregon, the Statesman Journal newspaper, the DOC, the Oregon Attorney General's Office, Salem Police, and other agencies. They all conspired to prevent Mr. Coleman from disclosing very serious problems about what was taking place the prison - to the public. - Staff dealing drugs to inmates; Coleman observed a long list of violations; one involved a female guard dealing heroin; an inmate overdosed and died and the prison covered it up. The woman was never convicted. - Guards playing a movie, 'Downfall' about Hitler's last days. This caused major racial tension in the prison. Coleman later learned that the Oregon State Police tried to build a case against him for the heroin overdose death. We have published testimony that state investigators made bribes asking inmates to testify against Coleman in the heroin overdoes death. An inmate who testified for Coleman in court brought the identity of the real guard who sold drugs to the attention of the state, which again ignored the evidence. (This is a small sampling of the crimes William Coleman reported.) Mr. Coleman tried to alert state officials to respond to his charges, of Oregon Corrections Officers who operate in unison, ignoring widespread racism-based issues while giving preference to the wishes of white racist inmates. Other incidents involved drug dealing, importing cigarettes (which Oregon prison officials later tried to convict Coleman of being involved in) and prostitution. One might think a moral officer like William Coleman would have washed his hands of the matter and moved on, but instead he remained in Salem and took a security guard position with the Oregon State Hospital. Part Two: Oregon State Hospital
Here is another example. A police officer is shot. Salazar is the star witness who says the officer shot himself, and was not shot in the line of duty.
How much weight would that pedophile wife-beating convict's testimony have?
It was during his training period that Coleman was shown the Lee Cemetery adjacent to the state hospital; it is a traditional escape route for prisoners. Let me say that again. Dangerous mental patients, many of whom are convicted killers, use this old historic cemetery when escaping as it leads to a densely populated Salem neighborhood. It was disclosed in court that numerous escaped patients over the years have used this route. Needless to say, it is dangerous for residents and the officers are regularly instructed to patrol the cemetery. Joe Salazar's name is well known in Salem. He is a gritty and abusive convicted pedophile with a long history of viciously beating his wife and being arrested and convicted for it. His violence and arrests have been well covered by the local daily newspaper, the Statesman Journal. However it was this same newspaper that constructed its articles to give Salazar credibility when Coleman took the state to court for damages, a case he lost. The newspaper knew who the guy was! It was part of the same conspiracy Coleman alleges. Had this newspaper paid attention to the numerous reports Coleman made, all of these problems; from the prison incidents of racism, to the set-up at the old cemetery, would have been exposed. It is funny, I know two Salem officers who arrested this guy Joe Salazar in one of his wife-beating, child-threatening escapades, and they told me he was the worst person they had ever dealt with. In court, a Salem Police officer named Waymon Hubbard tried to describe Mr. Coleman, a truly gracious honest and sincere person, as the "worst suspect he ever dealt with"! Waymon Hubbard lied on the stand and he is on the streets of Salem every day. William Coleman is the farthest person from the one he described. During his contact with Mr. Coleman that cost Coleman his job at the state hospital, he even refused, as a Salem Police officer... to reveal his name. That's pretty sad. Of course Hubbard is in the military; this was paraded in the courtroom as if he had more credibility for having taken part in the Iraq war. There are no heroics in lying on the witness stand or just being a crappy racist cop. Try to imagine... Here is another example. This would never happen in Oregon if the victims were white, but a pedophile creep was dressed up and rehearsed to protect Oregon from its own genuine liability to Mr. Coleman. Oregon by all accounts, has failed to comply with the U.S. Civil Rights Act. The state's Governor, John Kitzhaber, recently cut two members of the state Black Affairs Commission loose without an explanation. This unexplained action came after former Chairman Clifford Walker of Portland, and Willie Woolfolk of Medford, Oregon, began making inquiries over Obama's Federal Stimulus funds for Oregon. African-Americans live in this state largely without representation. If attorneys are scared to take Coleman's case because he is a whistleblower, we are reeling within a broken system. Read William Coleman's story; learn how he tried to help eliminate extreme racial injustice as a prison guard in Oregon and suffered retaliation from numerous officials and agencies. You can help William by donating to his legal defense. A victory in his Civil Rights case benefits all Oregonians. Salazar was allowed to testify against William Coleman and the buckets of racism attached to the case were used to grease the wheels and push it through. I am ashamed to be an 'Oregonian' but I will stay here and do what I do to help the state regain its place in this union. Well, when Mr. Coleman has his first chance to gain compensation for this horrendous case of, really... government terrorism, he was defeated by Oregon which defended itself; portraying Mr. Coleman as a criminal when he possibly was the only person in the courtroom who was not a criminal. Salazar was allowed to give testimony with his cohort Waymon Hubbard and Coleman lost. It is one of the sickest things I have ever heard of Oregon doing and the state makes the lives and safety of our city's children more compromised by using this witness. I will never stop supporting this man, he was treated with the highest level of injustice and the state of Oregon was the main agency steering the ship of inequity. So if you are a lawyer in Oregon or outside of Oregon and you want to represent Mr. Coleman, you will be doing all of us a very large and important favor. My email is below, and the link in red is the relevant story that fills in the blanks regarding what I reference here. __________________________________________________________________

I can tell you that your article has many people upset today, it is unnerving when you keep bringing these things into the picture. That's from the inside, deep inside. Keep going Mr. King because you are getting closer.

Seems natural, that the above Ananymous comments are from (a) questionable source. Because so-called "Whistleblowers" are always disciminated against by those of "authority", and yes, the ACLU is still in Oregon, but for the justification of existance to draw funds and salaries.. Oregon is right among the top of the pile in cover-ups in all departments from law enforcement to the Department of Justice, down to the courts.

Tim people are not created the same! Here in America, and only America, we have equal rights, but we are not equal in terms of Intelligence and talent. I suggest some world travel and actually spend some time in 3rd world countries and see what's really going on. They are 3rd world because of IQ, and not because the evil white people took them for a ride. If you think it's because of natural resources...go to Iceland. Too bad people like you are so inexperienced and confused, you have no idea what's going on do you?
Tim King: This comment is coming from the Oregon State Corrections IP, just know that your tax dollars are at work.... This same IP has been used to spew both racist comments and many statements specifically intended to misconstrue the story. They don't have the guts to use a name ever... and I carry the comment so that people can appreciate the spirit of what is taking place within the government of Oregon. And for the record, I have spent months in 3rd world places, even 4th world as many of us see Afghanistan, and the only thing I know is that people all over the world are exceedingly smart and far too many Americans are like this troll, low IQ and working to further Oregon state racism.

Oregon really did it this time!

Why don't you call the ACLU? Mr. Coleman is black and everybody knows that the ACLU loves to play the race card. Now to the story: everybody knows that there are always two sides of the story.
Tim King: Not in an adjudicated case. Mr. Coleman was the one reporting crime, not the other way around.. When he took action to expose the crimes of the state, they filed a 15 count indictment against him (Coleman) which he took to court and defeated the charges, the jury voted the he was 'not guilty' with a unanimous verdict. As far as the ACLU goes, are they even in Oregon? Do they even exist anymore? Same for the NAACP; they have uniformed white cops attend their meetings to be sure and intimidate anyone who might have a police complaint. That's almost as big of a joke as your interpretation of this story. .
I only hear one side of the story and the main thing is, again, the color of the Person. I bet you if Mr. Coleman was white, you would not give a damn about the story. The media today is for the most part responsible for the hate and racism in this Country. This Country would be much better off without the Media especially the liberal, progressive and lying media.
Tim King: I'm sorry if you were born minus the faculties required to complete this type of thought process. I know people have a hard time getting past racism; generally they are brainwashed as children by crappy equally racist parents,, sometimes it is just the individual's inability to see it clearly. All people are created the same. Only bad culture creates racism and hey, you ought to be right at home.

Good luck with fighting this. The old adage "You can't fight city hall" is alive and well. There are very few attorneys in the NATION who have the proper clout to take on this type of a case and win. There are a LOT of inferior and inexperienced attorneys that might like to "try" to see if they can handle the system, but they will all let you down. The judges are all predisposed to supporting the criminal elements who are working as your adversary.
Tim King: I appreciate what you are saying, I suppose as much as anything, being an American makes me keep fighting.
