(EUGENE, Ore. ) - Eugene walked off with the 5-4 win via a E.J. Eincinosa wild pitch with two outs in the bottom of the 10th inning Friday night in front of 2,765 inside PK Park. Joey Epperson lead off the bottom of the 10th inning with a walk by Dusten Knight, followed by a sacrifice bunt by River Stephens that put the runner at second base. Encinosa came into relieve Knight, and forced a ground ball from Auston Bousfield that placed Epperson at third base with two outs in the frame. The wild pitch secured the first series win for the Eugene Emeralds since the final series of the 2012 season when the Volcanoes were under the direction of former manager Tom Trebelhorn.
