(CORVALLIS) - More than 42-thousand utility customers in Linn and Benton counties including the cities of Albany, Corvallis and Philomath went hours without power today. The power went out at about 2:50 PM Wednesday afternoon. Pacific Power spokeswoman Bekki Witt says the outage was been traced to a transmission substation, where crews repaired the problem.
